This is the Truth Network treasurers of the song of songs, which is so, how amazing. Today we get to look into the fit verse of the fifth chapter of a day. Verse, which is such an expression and I believe for me I have found what I've been looking forward to some extent in that I started out this this study of the song of Solomon in search of understanding what the statutes were from the hundred 19 Psalm we did that study and throughout the hundred 19 Psalm it actually when you get to the top sections you might write my remembrances, my lips will praise when I've learned my statute. Well, that's what were trying to do is learn my statutes, and certainly this morning my lips were uttering praise as I think I understand, one that is here is the idea of the statute of the hokum is a habit and the cuff and will get a lot into that mentally first just get into the verse and will go through that so verse five in English as it reads. I rose up to open to my beloved and my hands dropped with murder in my fingers with sweet smelling murder upon the handles of the lock so it's it's a very interesting thing that after we talked about yesterday's unlocking of her heart. In other words, Jesus had the key.

As he put it through the whole the door of her heart and she was immediately moved to do what.

Essentially she'd been asking her to do since the second chapter right. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away for love, the winners passed by many says it again by delving the clefts of the rock, you know, arise and and and so it seems like that seems to be what the essentially since that word arise is a is a cliff and involve an amendment so that idea of rising to come to Jesus was that man would be Christ, the Messiah, and, and that the father sort like as we talked about Jacob's ladder at the connection of the cliff to the men and so you know again as we come as we arise.

We go into a place where we can be in the hokum. In other words, that idea of the hokum is our union with the cook for the holiness or being close to Jesus.

And so the first step in that obviously is we gotta get our hearts awakened as he puts his hand through the door of our lock of her heart. And then we get up because writer it says her bowels remover MEG every inch of her was moved to get up and then look what happened right. She had murder in and we talked about murder throughout. This is such a spectacular thing that the word murder means to drip in her hands. Here are dripping with murder and that idea again starts with MM right and enraged, which has to do with an anointing because the dripping is especially in this case is a dripping of an anointing oil right and and so the idea is that she arose from my perspective to anoint him as her stage words as her Christ.

That's what Christ is. He's the anointed one. And so what Mary did that night with the spikenard that whole idea is that this sweet smelling aroma of the anointing of Christ. When we do that on our lives we give forth a good smell obviously and in how beautiful is this that it even talks about the smell and the dripping and the idea of that ma'am rage which is the memo again is Messiah and that racial meaning is head pain is the beginning of his head and that is so cold that the word murder which even said and you know during their wedding night. He was getting get to the mountain of murder.

What he's looking at is for the point where we anoint him. Our head of our union right of our hokum so so you know he wants to be the head of our lives and so often you know I think this is actually a struggle for me every single day right is just a struggle to keep him there to keep that door open to make sure I'm looking to him to be the head of my day in every particular moment.

And so Talk about today because I had it in that I went away so you know this morning like so many mornings you know III go through my daily prayer which God just had me rewrite my whole daily prayer and so excited about my new daily prayer that I'm doing and as I was reading that and I got to the secret place right of the you know the clefts of the rock where rest little foxes. I'm doing all that to try to make sure I get to that place where Jesus comes. And then of course he sent me right to the song of Solomon. In this verse with a second I opened my Bible app to the interlinear of this verse and I saw arise right there. It was like my whole world just lit up because it was something like he is key to the door. My heart just opened by me.

Looking at those letters and Hebert for for whatever reason I could see this idea of proximity that that idea of the code of being. If I can get closer to Jesus. I get holy because good dose is the word holy in an and in this, it's the second letter in the hokum that were been looking for and so as I looked at that letter. My my heart to sleep and I know that he had had you know quickens me and as I was quickened, which is you know that it's it's the seventh anointing that Jesus received right in Isaiah 11 is, your heart is quickened and I'm hoping you have this and immediately I think your hands drip with murder because as you been quick and all of a sudden you know you you you long for his face to look for them in ways that you hadn't, you know, previously in the day in the moment, however, that worked and when that happens, you arise Eunice do and as you arise and anoint him again for the day as he quickens me every day. I was thing about how beautifully he did that just by me.

Looking at the word arise immediately. Just while Lord you are and it was such a fun experience I had that that's good. You know my door was open. I was in communion with God. And then I came in and I will try to get here to record this podcast and it was a busy traffic. All these people are getting back in the school and in our overage, yet I know I'm a Christian car garage never happened to me. But there was a situation were there was this intersection in the car in front of me was to make sure the matter what, that it didn't block the intersection. So we sat through the light twice because all these other people were kind of running their light to make sure that they got in the lane so by the third time the light turned green. The Christian car guy got on the horn with his leg, for goodness sakes, let's not do this one more time. You've got to get in the intersection over know, I know that you could be blocking it for a minute, but you gotta get their other wise the people in the lane to the right of us are going to keep filling that spot and were not can have a chance and I was so frustrated. Oh and and I went from and I was in a praying, as I was doing this, but also that is lost my door that idea.

Great peace have they that led by law. Nothing shall offend them well.

I love thy law that I was offended at the Lord, I need you right now like I can't do this on my own.

I need him to open that door in my heart right and continue to anoint me as I go through this day. I hope as you go through your day.

You'll think about wow I need to arise right I need to get into that close relationship so that he can quick me can show me something. As he sticks his hand through the block in my heart and I will rise in my hands once again flow with murder to anoint him as Lord you are. You are my Savior and I need to, you know you'll pray for this person that didn't fall off that scope you Lord I'm I'm so glad you're kidding about me. I should mention here at the end you know that the murder that she had ends up on the handles of the lock right and so when you think about it. He did put his hand through it here and and so it's a beautiful thing to me and Matthew Henry comments on her than I would say the same thing is you know Jesus is very much the murder. He is that and so did he leave that murder for us on the handles locked it. We get that as we went for it to open the door.

You know or did we have it it you know where that's ready available to anoint him like our oil and our lamps. I it's a great question and wonder that I have not yet figured out how I completely stand on it, but I think it's a neat thing to think that know what either way, we end up with this murder on the handle of our lock and we clearly have it there and as a result of our encounter with Jesus and his opening that the lock of her. Thanks for listening
