Truth Talk
Stu Epperson
On this episode of Truth For The Youth, Faith Epperson welcomes her grandmother, Nancy Epperson, for a powerful conversation about faith, Scripture memorization, and walking closely with God. Nancy shares her testimony of growing up in Hawaii during the time of Pearl Harbor, experiencing hardship and family struggles, and ultimately finding Christ as a teenager after being invited to church. She explains how memorizing Scripture since the age of 14 has transformed her relationship with God and offers practical advice for young people who want to begin hiding God's Word in their hearts. Faith and Nancy also discuss the importance of godly friendships, renewing your mind through Scripture, trusting God through difficult seasons, and putting Him first.

Stu Epperson
On this episode, Stu Epperson talks with newly ordained Christian minister, evangelist, and athlete Doug Elks about his recent ministry opportunities across the country. Doug shares powerful stories from preaching at major events, including The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and Red Rocks in Colorado, where hundreds responded to the gospel. He explains why every believer should view every person and every open door as an opportunity to share Christ with compassion and urgency. Doug also challenges listeners with 1 Thessalonians 2:4, reminding us that we have been entrusted with the gospel not to please people, but to please God. As he celebrates his ordination, Doug points listeners back to the greatest testimony of all: God has given eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Fred also discusses his book Give Him Jesus, designed to equip believers with practical tools and confidence to become intentional soul winners. The Christian Worldview
David Wheaton
Send us Fan MailGUEST: STEVE DEACE, host of the “Steve Deace Show” and a columnist for Blaze MediaFrom the very beginning, the souls of men have been the target of a mostly unseen spiritual war. On one side stands the fallen angel Satan and the legions of demons who followed him in rebellion against God. On the other stands the perfectly holy and good God and His holy angels. The first glimpse of this war appears in the Garden of Eden. There Satan, appearing as a beautiful serpent, tempted Adam and Eve to reject God. He lied, telling them that eating from the forbidden tree would not lead to death but would make them like God, “knowing good and evil.”The primary descriptor of Satan is that he is a liar. He relentlessly and maliciously twists the truth to lead men and women astray—and ultimately to destroy them. If he can persuade someone to believe a lie—any lie—that results in their deception and death before they repent and come to saving faith in Christ, that is a victory for him.Whether the unsaved realize it or not, Satan often works through people—including nice-sounding, well-dressed, educated individuals in prominent positions—to twist the truth and lead others astray. For Christians, the ability to discern between what is true and what is false is critical. Jesus warned that as we near the end times, this discernment will only become more difficult:“For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect” (Matthew 24:24).A recent period that dramatically illustrated the need for discernment was the COVID pandemic of 2020–2022.In rapid succession, masking was urged and then mandated for everyone, including children. Later in 2020, a vaccine was released under Emergency Use Authorization as part of “Operation Warp Speed.” Young and old, including pregnant women, were expected—often through intimidation or shame—to receive an injection with no long-term history and very limited testing. For two years the country took on authoritarian characteristics. Families were barred from visiting loved ones in hospitals and care facilities. Schools, businesses, and churches were ordered closed. Citizens and members of the military lost their jobs for refusing the vaccine. Many reported that loved ones died or were injured after receiving it.It was a dark time in America—not only because of the deaths of those vulnerable to the virus, but because large portions of the population accepted and promoted falsehoods. The six-foot social-distancing guideline proved to be arbitrary. Masks were not effective at stopping transmission or contraction of the virus. And the vaccine, along with its many boosters, did not prevent people from getting COVID or spreading it to others. As the virus moved through the population, one reality became clear: the vast majority of people were not dying from it.A relatively small minority recognized the fallacies advanced by government officials, political leaders, health authorities, the media, major institutions, and even many Christian organizations, prominent leaders, and churches. They pushed back against the deception. One of those voices was Steve Deace, a radio host for Blaze Media and best-selling co-author of Faucian Bargain: The Most Powerful and Dangerous Bureaucrat in American History. He joins us this weekend on The Christian Worldview to revisit the COVID era and discuss why Christians must become far more discerning. He will also address the Charlie Kirk trial and the conspiracy theories surrounding Kirk’s assassination as yet another example of why believers need to exercise sharper critical thinking.----------------------Program Notes:Steve Deace ShowFaucian Bargain: The Most Powerful and Dangerous Bureaucrat in American History  by Steve Deace on Amazon

Clearview Today
Abidan Shah
We treat grace and mercy like they're the same thing — but they're actually very different, and understanding the difference changes everything. In this episode of Clearview Today, we continue our Getting to Know God series with the grace of God, one of the communicable attributes He shares with us and calls us to reflect. We break down the three tiers of God's justice in the simplest possible terms: justice is getting what we deserve, mercy is not getting what we deserve, and grace is getting what we don't deserve. Grace is the good we never earned; mercy is the bad we never received. Dr. Abidan Shah illustrates it with a disobedient son who deserves discipline but gets lunch bought for him anyway — and then a milkshake on top. That milkshake is grace. We also tackle why grace is so hard for us to accept: we're raised to earn our keep, to never take a handout, and we carry that same works-based mindset straight to God, where it simply doesn't work. From there we go deeper — what it means to be "dead in trespasses and sins" and still able to receive the free gift, why grace was every bit as present in the Old Testament as the New (Noah, Moses, and the same unchanging Christ), and how the cross was the plan before Genesis 1:1. The episode closes on the most practical question of all: how do we live by grace, and extend to others the same grace God has lavished on us?Support the showDr. Shah writes a personal letter every week — reflections on Scripture, faith, and living it out with clarity and purpose. GET THE LETTER If you enjoyed the show, please like and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages, and also subscribe to our YouTube channel. Greg Laurie
In the movie industry, they talk about the “suspension of disbelief.” It’s all make- believe, right? But they try to make the costumes, and the special effects, and the acting so convincing that it suspends our disbelief. They hope we forget it’s fake. Or fiction, if you prefer. Wisdom for the Heart
Dr. Stephen Davey
Share a commentHave you ever felt like life turned against you for no good reason? You did the right thing, obeyed God, and served faithfully, only to watch storm clouds gather where the sun had just been shining. What do you do when doing right leads to being hunted? In this episode, Stephen Davey opens 1 Samuel 19 and 20 and continues his series on the life of David. The pretense is finally over. King Saul openly orders his son and servants to kill David. Stephen walks you through the crushing losses David absorbs in rapid succession. His position, his wife, his spiritual mentor, and finally his closest friend, Jonathan. Every layer of stability is stripped away, not because David sinned, but because he stood faithfully in the will of God.Stephen also draws in the courageous witness of Jonathan, a son who refused to imitate his father's evil, and points to David's honest cries in Psalm 59 as the very songs forged in these dark days. Alongside David's story, Stephen brings you into 2 Corinthians 4, where Paul confesses he too has been pressed, perplexed, persecuted, and knocked down, yet never crushed, driven to despair, forsaken, or destroyed. God, who raised us up, wants us to stand. And He wants us to remember how. This message will comfort your heart when the storm refuses to lift. Desperate times have a way of redefining your sources of strength and rewriting your list of priorities. Every roof will leak except the roof of your Sovereign shelter. Look up. Look ahead. What you see now is not all there is. God will make everything right, even if He waits until glory. Until then, keep singing the song of faith that is being forged in your own hideout.Learn more about twenty-five years of global impact, and reserve tickets to our gala. https://www.wisdomonline.org/mp/25 Learn more: https://www.wisdomonline.org/Support the show
