The Song of Faith, Part 3

Greetings friends and new listeners welcome to our program. I'm Sharon not thanking you for joining us today because we know Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. I think you will truly be blessed, maybe even tickled by our message today the song the faith. I know I had fun ministry in the congregation was right there with me including the children, we found out that not only does state speak, but it also sings so be blessed by the song the faith people had come proved it, but time was different. Looking back and summarizing the Israelites in the wilderness and Psalm 107 verse 31 says that men would praise the Lord for his goodness and for his wonderful works and this is a song some honestly set to music because we will read the whole thing is way too long but every few verses they repeat all men would praise the Lord for his wonderful works to the children of men, and give a few more wonderful works and I like the one in verse 35 to 50 and it says he turned wilderness interest in water and the dry ground into water sprays would praise the Lord for his wonderful works to the children of men, and I hope that you see in the spirit. Maybe you've been through something that you been to a catastrophic illness or someone close to you has been a severe trial a severe trial. Your child may even be worse than that, you may have lost a loved one close to you and that is like being in the wilderness with no copies and nothing you feel totally lost. Amen. Or you may feel like that you're just a drifted and you don't have any direction but I tell you that if you will sing the victory song if you will sing the song you will find out that faith in your spirit will come up like a spring and want to spring it, you can't shut it down. Amen. I love what Jesus said in John 414. The water that I shall give unto you, shall be a well water spring on the everlasting life singing before the victory is an active faith very quickly (the second Chronicles the 20th chapter now forgetting far far far down the road in the history of the Israelites.

This is a store you're all well familiar with, so I will paraphrase a lot of it at this situation, the enemies of God will recognize the names immediately, as the same ones we read here in numbers. We got way down the road. This is toward the end of the Kings before they went into exile and we read that no non-announced here came up against Israel, a great multitude, and the Scripture says in second Chronicles 20 I think it's verse three that you yell verse three and just the fact he was afraid because they were outnumbered by three nations.

Amen. And they were mighty men, and so he feared.

Here's what you do when you're attacked by fear. Verse three he gathered the people together. He and Judy gathered themselves together at first for wannabe backup verse three he set himself to seek the Lord and proclaimed throughout all Judah, so he was afraid but he said you know I'm by myself.

He got brothers and sister got men and women of like precious faith, we got going pretty fast together. Amen gathered together and what they do verse four to help on the Lord that came out from their cities and they came together and that's what you do when you're being a spirit of fear, you're trying to get the mentoring and indexing. You and your trying to do a dog or something. Keep on. You know yourself sometimes were ashamed to admit by fear or to somewhat great mighty great spiritual Christian what you mean you're being attacked by fear. You know yourself.

The preacher got your back.

Fear, but it's not unusual it's very common. It's one of Satan's number one weapons. This time it's ungrounded and unfounded. If you thought about really thought about what you're afraid of, you realize it shouldn't be while you're in it you don't see it that way, you feel that terrible terrible oppressing spirit of fear and somewhat you got brothers and sisters to help you to pray help of God and so that's what he did and then if we go on we find out that they begin to pray. Verse 5 1/2 foot in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem in the house of the Lord before the new and said, oh Lord God of our fathers. I love this is what you do you brag on God are not found God in heaven, and will not enroll the kingdoms of the heated and nine hand.

They confess they did not know what to do. The Bible says God resists the proud, but all gives grace to the humble.

He specifically said wife and children and if they weren't there he would just setting all the people. Okay, then upon the elder son of Zechariah, the son of Ben Anaya, the son of John yell this on a map.

Anaya, a Levite, you could just told us that the sons of Asaph. Now who were the sons of Asaph, the choir members.

The fingers amen you looking to solve a lot of them don't say David. A lot of say Asaph and came the spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation. I'm not a prophet.didn't pick a preacher.didn't pick up Bishop. He did take reverent wonderful. He picked a choir member, a choir member and the Holy Ghost came on him and he said to me all Judah and he had Jerusalem and out came to have to fax the Lord unto you. Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude for the battle is not the works, but God and tomorrow you down again. Then, behold, they come up on the cliff of and you shall find them at the end of the brook before the wilderness and future UL and you shall not need to fight this battle sector cells and standing still and see this nation of the Lord with you all Judah and Jerusalem, nor be dismayed tomorrow go out against them for the Lord will be with you.

Amen. The Lord will you now lest we get the idea that they had absolutely nothing just go down there and stand if we stopped here we might think that they didn't have to do anything else. All they had to do was just stand there.

But let's see what what he says in the next verse in the Levite cave where were not involved 18 1/2 and bowed his head with his face to the ground and all Judah for the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord worshiping the Lord and the Levites and the children. The half-light of the children of Christ there all Levites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice knowing hi and they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tacoma and as they went forth.but stood and said he made all Judah and he had Jerusalem listen, believe in the Lord your God, so shall you be established beneath his prophets and so shall you prosper you think they still had to do something.you don't have to fight. No, no, you don't have to fight but you do have to believe my work. You have to believe my promises and you got to believe my profits and sometimes all you have is this. That's all you got to stay in doing and the enemy is surrounding you, but you have got to believe the written word and then because were New Testament saints, especially how much more when we have the Holy Spirit poured out upon us. We have received the spirit with all of his nine gifts operating in the church.

Amen. Sometimes God gives us a prophetic word even if you believe the written word are going to be established you're going to be founded. I don't want to hear nothing from anybody that's not rooted in the word you're not ready to do anything to you get founded included in the word and then if you get founded in the words sometimes God will give in addition to the written word will get ice were given and spidered word he'll give a word of wisdom the word of knowledge, prophecy, tongues, interpretation of tongues. God will give and if you believe the written word will be rooted and grounded in established the enemy will not be able to move you with the lie. And then when you get spidered word and you believe it is not given you an inspired word and you let the devil talk you out of it. How many times is not given you a prophecy or a word of encouragement and then the devil said that was just the vessel that was just that that if you want to prosper in that were gotta believe it. You gotta believe and hope that you never believe a word over the written word. You never believe a word that does not agree with the written word because we have a short more word of prophecy the word of God. But when it is in line with God's word and if you do have the spirit of God in you, he will bear. Amen. Because God will witness, and God will confirm and then you shall prosper. I think did nothing. They had to believe, and then what did they do verse 20 and they rose up early in the morning. However, he read that verse 21 and when he had consulted with the people he appointed singers on the Lord that is the beauty of holiness. When somebody tell me the next word would you be for the Army and to say what praise the Lord for his mercy in Florida forever, and when they began to sing and to praise the Lord that an enforcement against the children of Amnon Miller, the now senior, which were come against you.and they were smitten. So here we have another example of singing before the victory. It says they went before the Army now we can take that preposition two ways. Obviously they went in front of them before, and in front the singers went first and then the Army. The Army were there for show. They were there for show.that you don't have to fight. They didn't have on their their fatigues in their camouflage.

They had on their brass button and their hats when you march in a parade. They weren't there with their with all of their arms, they were there for a victory parade. They were waiting until they had the victory had the parade committee know that after the victory would always parade down the main streets of of of the city, but they weren't there for a parade before there was a victory. Amen… You went to the battles over want you to wait until the enemy has been smitten answer the first thing they did was they were simple Lord we know not what I what ambushed me to be hiding waiting on nobody. The invisible angels of God. They were weight. They will wait until every one of them was in the middle of their victory song. They were singing on the lot, worshiping God, the angel came out of the bushes because when God will be right in the middle of your warfare.

You because you made no you're going to be thinking. What do you want you morning God.

Everyone right now. What went through your children to be healed and need to give you. Amen I trust you're being blessed by this delightful message. The song, the faith in Old Testament times, God instructed Moses and later David to put his word to music. This made it easier for the people to remember. Even today, we teach our kids, their ABCs and song. The song of Moses was sung by the people. After their glorious Red Sea crossing Mariam and the women sang and danced the horse and the rider are cast into the sea. You know it's easy to sing when you just want a huge victory like that, but unfortunately the Israelites fell into chronic murmuring. Each time they faced a hardship, such as having no water in one incident it resulted in God sending fiery serpents that bit them, and some died. This left an indelible mark on their memory and the next time they needed water. They began to sing before they receive their answer.

While the men were digging. The women were singing and the water burst forth. There is a great lesson here for all of us. Don't wait to the battles over sing now shout now dance now God will send angels to chase the enemy like the chaff before the wind like he did when Josh of thought and the choir went out to face the enemy. They sing the victory song.
