This is the Truth Network welcome to mannitol and brought you by DAW. CM is talking and walking Christian men's ministry were there devoted to breaking down the walls of race and accommodation in challenging them to take their God assigned as our host will Hardy and Roy Jones Junior, a black guy and a white guy. Welcome Samantha.

The black guy and I'm Roy Jones. The white guy the Elroy we were talking last week with the minister Canaday, who was back with this in reference to all the things that we have seen in the media, news media, with George Floyd and Mel. We talked about what some of the issues we we felt was we talked about how all policemen are not right you know bad people in don't do the things that this police officer did in Minnesota and I wanted to address something before we start getting into the conversation is something we were talking about off the air when the minister Canaday mention it, and in Exodus chapter 1, and I shared this with on the CFG in Exodus chapter 1 what Pharaoh did in and we've you talking about minister Canaday about that power and authority that an individual would exhibit and so what he did is. He said he went to the will he oppress the Israelites in the word of God says the more he oppressed them, beginning with verse eight. The more he oppress them, the stronger they grew and and they begin to grow more and begin to grow more and then he said, wow, begin to be.

This is a whole lot of them out here now. So what's going to happen if they align themselves with our enemy and then all of a sudden they attack us and they put us in slavery, you know, so he's thinking about the control deck control factor. The next thing he did was he went to the midwives and he called to the midwives and he said okay. When a male child is born. I want to kill it kill a male child, and so they said we fear God more than Pharaoh. We ain't doing this and so they began to grow.

Then he took it a little one step further. He said okay round up all of the men and the boys that are born and forming a river. So you see this disorder like step in elevation of oppression and the vigor because he simply wanted to keep the numbers manageable and that's what you do when you are leader and you fear that if the people who you are pressing get big and you that's fear right now, I'm not equating this to what is happening today. I'm just putting it out here as this is what the word of God says that Pharaoh did to the children of Israel, and ultimately God watched over them. They begin to grow, multiply, and then finally the plagues come we all know the story you know Aaron and Moses going to Pharaoh saying let my people go, so you know I lot of of what we see is in Minsk and they were talking about this earlier on last week show on how this is a period of many many years. So we are seeing many many years of what has happened and it's carried forward to what we see today and in the second up is emotional and you know slavery in the Old Testament you came up you came to slavery. About two different ways. One of them was you signed up for. You know you go borrow it or or your bodice was consistent by your ball and you are subject to them like the other one is due from slavery through war you know when when when when when you lose a war of whatever's there. You become a slave to the Kings that won the war.

So those are two things for slavery. This American slavery that we been experiencing that that's not biblical at all business. There's no social what you have what you have is now you have a historical trauma that will living in right now historical trauma from the past 20 some years you knock it and we had been out that long so chose is historical trauma to son was talking about the writing and all that stuff that now I look at the differences of course we know this in the Scripture, God is not for that God is not into that… Speaks against that but you have to also understand that in that process. Talking about looting, breaking windows and some deaths you know and and all this other stuff, but that still doesn't compare to the 400 years of this historical trauma. So what you Have a boiling point was one Scripture is one Scripture in the Bible that I could never understand. I read the Bible study the Bible I went through everything one Scripture Revelation when he said, was talking about the that the two prophets and he said they can be killed and stoned and he said everybody is going to see it at one time and I was like how to do that. This is before cell phones see now I see this phone is these camera everybody said everything like instantly things I so so I understand his house how Scripture fulfills itself within a euro. And that's what we got going and we have multiple and this is why this is so big right now is not just the black people is Caucasian people was his sister standing with him in his Asians. Is this the world to stand with us and I think this would be key is that right now. So when you know all of what I think we have seen and we need to talk to our children. We need to bring about programs with in the four walls of our local building because that that building is not the church. That's why safe local building.

We need to because this children, preteens, teens, young adults, they all have questions. They all have questions. Why is this happening and and you know when you are speaking about all those years of oppression and I mention this again during our CFG is at the 13th amendment, 14th and 15th amendment was supposed to number 1/13 amendment was supposed to abolish slavery. The 14th amendment gave everyone the right under the Constitution. Whatever Constitution said you you know you as a citizen, a naturalized citizen. Slaves included that you have these rights in the Constitution, of course.

The 15th amendment allowed for the right to vote, but all of that, even though that was in the Constitution, and this is this is why we were talking about earlier that you can't legislate this because he that was legislation that was legislation that came out to say you have these rights right but yet they didn't happen after the Civil War. Why execution without a strategy as a CPA and in the individuals who will hold alone during the South. They don't want to let this up so right after the warhead had ended.

You had these three constitutional amendments come out, but then the for example, the right to vote because you had what was known as black codes in the black codes turned into Jim Crow laws and the black codes of the Jim Crow laws they were there. Basically to keep the black man at bay so he could continue to be an indentured servant that that was basically it was it's a whole lot of other things in it but I was basically why these codes were permitted and so now they don't want to let go. So now you have you have the black man who was out there and he's going to wait a minute where we are holding offices because they did hold office public office.

You know in the mid-1800s held public office but nothing would go through because they were the minority and so is much things they would bring up it was like well with this thing is going to be down, you know, just because of where we sit and then the right to vote. How many times have we seen again in history and I did.

And this is all based on the 400 years that that Mr. Kennedy was talking about how many times have we seen these the Jim Crow laws enacted until a man by the name of Martin Luther King came along and said let's let's we got it we got to stop this, and then the civil rights act came about, which allow the black man almost 100 years, almost 100 years from the time the Jim Crow laws ceased until the civil rights and that's just a little history. I mean go and often ocular systemic racism did exist, and everything about it is there's a lot of people that gained from that. And then there's that many more that were hurt by that easy, so you get those running on the same playing field and you know and of that stalagmite. My thing is please reform you have to have a different face.

You have to create a different look for your please you have to create a different you know I don't want to save restitution or anything like that to be. But the bottom line is if if individuals can say well with you guys went through is totally wrong and you need you need just just by said no man will pot a couple. My friends call me on this. We bought is going on and to say hey man, you know, I want you to know that I'm there for you and you and I was encouraging something to the simplistic things in know what is individual thinking and we are no Scripture. This stuff is going to be here But but Long As the Individual Start Changing Their Mindset and Because of Some People Don't Feel like That Is Not Absolute.

Everything Is Just Because You Don't Fill the Problem Domain That the Problem Don't Exist Where That's a Problem Society in General. Right If It's Not Your Backyard. Most People Pay Attention to a Known Reason Most Repentance Now Is Because It's Visible. It's on the News Publicizes Affecting Just about All the Major Cities across the Country so Is They Can't Help with Patent Living Just like with Anything We Can Go Back through Time That People Just Want to Ignorant or Just Complacent to What's Going on This, Not outside of the or That Is outside of Their Particular Arena and That's Goes Back to I Think We've Lost A Lot with These Funds We Talked about You. Remember, affordable chiropractic on the W. Lexington Ave. in High Point Hall 336-885-1987. Welcome back to the show in the way this is so good to have you here in the city. Think of taking time on your business because of the list lesson back to what was it right for the break folks units of value of life and is there is a right and wrong. We we talked about this off-line there's a there is a right and wrong with society today would tell you that wrong is not right in the enemy.

This goes in the issue were talking about hands. You talk matter goes back for centuries. But there's one thing we all agree upon them, and were all in the court even through this conversation will let you know that we love each other and serve God you know is that we can't change one thing about the past and you know the rearview mirror is small for reason is just there is a reference point is not to constantly go back and live that over his end and we all know we can't change one thing we did yesterday or last year or 10 years ago that we can impact the decisions we make moving forward and that's how will in effect change in T enduring. I think you said earlier.

Maybe it was off-line without forgiveness. We got to be willing to forgive you know in difficulty speaking you want grace like Christ extended to us and died for us because we didn't deserve it. You want justice, so I think that's something we listen as you need to be a part of this is that discovery about grace and recognize the failure to recognize the wrong but then how is it going to change. Moving forward in this court require everybody change is not like you said, let's not just black/white is not just an Asian non-Asians. This is all people go to change it.

We gotta get this addressed holistic if people start loving each other as Christ has commanded us to do in an incident to love your neighbor then you will doing this other stuff you're doing assistive and an adolescent.

Think how do you get an individual to start loving a man who he has you know hate for see that's that's the thing take to get us to get us together and first talking and then you talk, you don't talk to the individual you use it you talk about the issue and then you let the love of God and the word of God penetrate the thick scan of the individual permeate to their heart and then that intern will be will that seed in there, which individually talk about. I'm talking about the individual. Okay you got you got to individuals. You got the one who was the born-again believer and you got the one who we're talking about it, then believer the unbeliever, the individual who has hate for all men right and see.

We understand we who are born-again sarcasm, have to make sure I say that we who are born again when we go to the unbeliever. Our message should always be the message of Jesus Christ. It should be in an and every sense of the word.

So again if you have one individual over here who is harboring the hatred and another individual who was harboring hatred, hatred, and then you see those two individuals yelling at each other like we see on the nightly news. You know then that when we see that is like how how do I go and be the arms, legs, eyes and ears of Jesus Christ as a message to convey to these individuals, were you not pop up an answer on that. The church today.

We are morally conscience we we we are conscious about the laws of the Lord good that the will of God. We are conscious about that, but we also have to be socially conscious and I think this so many people that are morally conscience in the church abiding by the will will of the words and the laws of God.

But they're not socially conscious. They don't see all of the socialists of many stuff because they is it doesn't affect them. You know what we have to. In the book of Proverbs Proverbs Proverbs 30 1829 speaks on it. We have to be the voice we have to be the voice now. I think if more people stand up and and NSA's individual thing because it's the individual that has the standard you know. But now, when when all the individuals come together together corporately. You know now that we can do something.

But is that the individual first has to change.

Just like in in our walk with God is he deals with us individually, but we have a lot of moral moral conscious Christians within a social conscience Christian we have to understand and identify. That's why empathy is so important to me is that because that takes takes you and puts you in that person's situation. You have to have a better understanding and I know you do is look at the reality I meant. You know, if I came up and and and Dr. King you have any world you don't have any say so is done. I want to keep. That's it. I mean, and we talk about socialism not to hurt. Knowledge stuff but I think the Scripture tells us a soft voice instead of a rat instead of the instead of the fast track in a soft voice turn things around that I might not be immediately and you might get you here as well, but those are principles that we need to live by the morally conscious and also social cards. Let's talk about the elephant in the room that is the Sundays, the most segregated day weeks and in the Martin Luther King of Bloomington, know that originally Winston here we are 56 years later and so it's no different that there are some tricks that are trying to make a difference were trying to make a difference as a men's organization, but we still get ways to go and that we just trust God continue to do that but folks if if you're listening to the program and in like a challenge. The men back in February was the last time you had dinner with the person of a different color than you are, that of speaking to the holding in Williams last time you had lunch with someone of a different color and then when he was last time you socialized with someone that look different and I ask you is a list or the same question because it's only going to change when the body of Christ changes and when the body of Christ says it's okay to be segregated so could run two different churches.

It's okay not socialize. Guess what, what you think Satan is going to do with the world just for the record as a lawyer to dispute to some typhoon before appetitive that I had Eisenach how to save, memorably, don't talk and listen to this. It's an absolutely, absolutely. In in these times you know of the whole spectrum of what we see it. It has to come back to how do we as believers communicate the message to the individuals so that we can we can start talking and you know last night. I think I shared often here last night over at Mount Zion have zoom meeting and one of the members from the Christian Fellowship group sent 1/2 of electronic flyer to me and so I listen from 7 o'clock to almost a 45 in and they had a judge on their they had an attorney on Larry have a state representative on their they had a individual who was an activist for African-American rights.

I mean it in a couple to three pastors Mark Walker was on their representative from North Carolina and so all these individuals on here and of course when when Bishop who was over there after Mount Zion he would pull no punches within in reference to the questions and there was individuals and I could see their face. They felt uncomfortable and when he before he went on.

That's what he said.

He said this this form that we have tonight is not to make you comfortable is to make you uncomfortable.

And when you step out of your comfort zone is when you say now I'm able to go out and have have an empathetic heart and be able to go out with a a newfound understanding that I got wisdom of God to go out to say individuals less.

Let's start this let's start the dialogue at this level and we just believe God that is going to you know it's it's going to fly. You know that's what that's why love the Scriptures descriptors they don't point out a nationality I reason you know I mean you know this from some some issues with a they do for specific reasons, but like for Francis Pollan Palace was a black guy you know you know I do not. He is descriptors don't highlight that you know because there's no need, and until people start seeing people for people you know you know it's not like a black man is Wyoming, but this is what we see. You know me. So we see what we see in front of us a leg up when it over in Asia you get the same issues that goes on him with two Asian groups who have the same issue in an and in Russia to quotation group in Africa to get only to hate each other so this is a people's heart.

Think so until we get to the place where we can change people's heart and like what you gonna to broadcast this is changing people's heart because the work. The Bible says the word of God. When I return to avoid things that arise was wanted topics was set out to do. We need to believe that and and just do what we don't want to write and is individually touching one person at a time. You know when we may not agree with. And we know we we are Bible believes we know it. I going get on their way here as long as we put ourselves to touch somebody someone gets more information to change their way of thinking that's all we can do one water is one plaintiff, but I get the interest right is a letter where the Bible is real euro and you know what racism is in Scripture. A lot of people look at Jonah in the belly of the wellness storyline.

Jonah was prejudiced. Just don't forget the documents that you know John was. Sadie was already going to work in the morning. Later in one development minister to done for a new way of knowing exactly who you are having a hell of a universal window treatments and consider exactly. And you know Roy what you were saying on last week show in reference to why we don't see and hear about all the abortions that's taking going on in the world all all love the you don't make white on white type of crime connects because it doesn't sell.

See we we are and we are in this society that it needs to sell. So what sales is when you have race versus race yet and that's good for will close now and live with that. You need to take with a grain of salt. Not everything you read. See you here is hundred percent accurate outright unless you done the research behind it and will talk about that on that show that I was served with a guy getting back to so hey if you listen to the show. We always want to have the opportunity to suck father as your personal savior Jesus Christ died for you all you got to submit minister asked Jesus into your heart.

Father sent the son to be your savior and if you have done that one of place where Fellowship worship. Contact us will get connected to the church. God bless you.
