Don't think Kerry Broughton to get your information, I want to talk to Bill here will in Virginia. Good morning how you feeling well good here. Good to hear. Tell me, tell me what's on your heart and mind this morning while I guess I'm a former hear your I felt my father had Alzheimer's. I guess a little of that year and 1/2 and a became weak and unsteady and started falling one followed by my care so we put them in a nursing home. At that point and that point also tied into a wheelchair. Every time he got so he never walked again about David having Matt walking every day, and these flights of fancy looking quite a matter of interest in mutual discussions see people out in the woods with the words on top of the hill down really see people out there sometimes varies friends that he was supposed to go meet they would come up meeting at the house was finally in his that's where he was. So I talked to them like that. We converse about these folks I give her my phone. Are you there not being people out there is something a lot of love to give reason with when you deal with dementia. Things such as that that they want to argue with their loved one in the in you you so there's no need to do that is how we just talked about where is flights of Frankie were taking him. He seemed to appreciate that elaborate euro. It was on mass media for my heart listed, but at the same time I felt like I made it to Dr. like man-to-man so you still like that you got a six level of closure with your dad that was helpful to you. Yes.

After it was great approximately 18 months and I got more than I ever had to rest my life actually take care of the stormy relationship over the years went too many years previously thrown me out of the house to three check. I wasn't living with them. I was living in Alabama most time until problems came up in the family and I moved back to Virginia things I want to do with the this show and my fellow caregivers and myself this week.

We know that most likely this thing is going to in with us standing at a grief manner, but the goal is to stay in their without clips. This had to be at peace with with ourselves, our love one family and friends and maybe didn't help the way we wanted, or even with God, do you feel like you are able to do that, Bill Wonka started talking doing what we seem to have nice conversations have a figment of imagination, but we were able to converse intelligently engineering I am an engineer spoke the same line with got along quite well, if you can say one thing to caregivers that are dealing with what you're dealing with before.

Let's go here. Would you just think about what would you say to a fellow caregiver going through a similar journey. What would you say to offer their work wherever they are made where they are easier argument and frustration when he argues talked about what they're saying experience in my it's interesting and just listening to Lloyd in mind is working even though it's working weird ways.

It's I find it. That is a great great place that that the great line to give wherever they are just leaving when they are but that what God does with us.

He just meets us where we are and sometimes were talking nonsense in God leads us right where we are dozen so Melissa Bell you if you think that encouragement to me this morning and I thank you very much for calling, Rob got your information I will send you copy Gracie CD and I really do appreciate you call Bill this means a lot. I love you call it. Thanks for listen to the show and that they should be a part of what were doing here okay thank you very much for your and already very Gracie listen to her saying to seeking key can get it cc live to sing about it and she's the real deal and bless her heart. She said I tell her she's tougher than trying smoke and she she did when she sings oh yeah I got a buddy of mine out here that's really a big blues aficionado loves the blues and he was in the music business in LA and now he's out here where we are in Montana and he's got a studio that he said I really want to get Gracie got here and let her sings the blues and suddenly she said that she's got a right. She's got a rights respect thought that was pretty. So you see how she does in some of those things that we found some great songs that I think that she's got a really be able to sink your teeth into and will have some fun with it but I love that she's got a right thank you very much for the call. I do appreciate it so much. This is Peter Roseberry. This is hopefully caregiver, hopefully caregiver.com there's the podcast there's the blog.
