God has an encouraging word for you and me today to the Bible-based reading of Dr. Don Wilton and the conclusion of the message have an honor. Sometimes we look around us we see what's taking place. It's hard to imagine heaven and earth, but in today's message from Dr. Wilson will go to Matthew chapter 6 gain some understanding even in the middle of the mess there is a message from God's word for you as we spend time on the phone together. It 866-899-WORD you need to know where here for you, not just now during the broadcast for 24 hours a day. If you haven't shot a number down or maybe stored in your cell. Our pastor Dr. Don Wilton would say let us be your 2 AM friend. Call us anytime at 866-899-9673 email us at online@tewonline.org.org. Now today's message heaven on earth with Dr. Don Wilton allows man to hear what God is willing, in heaven, not my dear friends, one assumption Jesus is making a theological assumption here that people who believed in the name of God in Christ Jesus our allow God by virtue of his sacrifice, God's will from heaven if I could put it into modern-day terminology. God actually allows us to put it into what's going on in heaven.

But if that's the assumption that Jesus makes this second assumption is that God commands man to obey what he taps into these two are juxtaposed together folks they ride sidesaddle with one another.

This is a tandem bicycle if you please.

You got to people paving at the same time but actually God is the one who's doing all apparently when just there for the ride. Jesus said I will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Well, he was talking about God's will in heaven. I got full qualities I want to share with you that help us to understand what God's will is what is it look like, how do you describe God's will in heaven. Number one, it is sovereign to get to grips with what God's will in heaven is you gotta begin with the sovereignty of God because he is God is sovereign, it means that it carries absolute authority means that Dumond's total obedience means that it expects question compliance.

That's God's sovereignty sovereignty means that when God speaks, that's it. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Folks we battle with because we are Americans because we bought a Constitution without a Bill of Rights.

I listen to this Christian American we battle with the naturally we do better with backing with this matter of the sovereign will of God because I want to? It's one thing to hear it, but it's another thing to question folks listen we go to God and we say to him, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Is this okay and he says yes and then we going change you want me to go right or left a lot. I want you to go right and then we turn left. Can you can you feel the challenge they that stuff is so when one talks about God's will, thy will be done on as it is in heaven. I wanted sovereign number two it's perfect. I can't describe perfectness to you. Can you I can't do that but I do know that he is perfect, which means that he is absolutely perfect. Now watch this means that whatever it is that is loosed in heaven is perfect for me on this earth number three. It is celebrated God's will is celebrated. It's an amazing thing you know if you if you take your Bibles which we don't need to do right now you go. For example, Revelation chapter 4. The beginning of the end the ants could toss John's on the island of Patmos.

Revelation 4 verse 11. For example, in your own private.you see one of the songs that the Angels and the elders sitting around the throne of God work with a singing about. Praise be to God, glory and honor, forever and forever because of your will that has been through the creation of the world and of mankind.

They celebrated God's perfect will around the throne. By the way, what is God's perfect will. God's perfect will is that none would perish. Jesus is the word of God makes us abundantly clear. Jesus died for all people. He's will is that not one person would go to a devil.

So would be separated from the glory of God in Christ Jesus.

Not many people folks goal for this angle and that angle and get all their theology and resulted they comfort zones of tell me that God before he even business decided that this these people here would damn to eternal hell. These people are going to be saved and there's nothing you can do about it will show me that in Scripture. Why would Jesus have bothered to dive everybody was all some people already damn it, God's already made the decision, why did he give us the great commission to going all code and tell people about Jesus. God's already damned off the world does God play games. Why did why did Jesus say come and follow me. I'm going to make you fishers of men. If you and I have no part to play.

Why did he say God so loved the world that whosoever believes in him should not perish quantity site for by grace are you saved through faith, not of works is nothing you can do out of work satisfied wanted poolside the just shall live by the very expression of faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Why did he tell the church in the act of the apostles, you need to repent of your sin, if even that my reprinting of my sin is not gonna result in my conversion, because God's already decided that I'm damned to hell. Thy will be done on earth just the same as it is in heaven.

And how do we know that the will of God is that none would perish, because when somebody just one person gives their life to Jesus Christ. The Bible says the angels in heaven.

Rejoice. What a celebration. Number four. It is done that you got a description of the will of God in him. It is sovereign. It is perfect at celebrated and the it's never question its carried out. So here's the bottom line folks what Lynn would you suppose would be the top 10 ways not to pray for God's will to be done if if the most important thing on this earth is for me to awesome God to carry out his will in my life or do not need to do if we as a church want awesome God to make known he's willing heaven to us on this earth, tell us what to do tomorrow, next week if is apparently viewed as a parent and we want to pray for our children for our sons and daughters for our parents want to do, what not to do folks here are the top 10 things that you must not, when you awesome God to reveal his will to you the top 10 ways not to pray number one with forced submission done pray with forced submission by God's got you by the scruff of the neck and he's ramming you down on your knees and he sign you better pray you know who I am. Nowhere in the Bible and God says that forced submission. God is the God of grace and the God of love. He invites us to come into his presence. Number two do not pray with passive resignation. Well I guess you know might as well go do this. Whatever. Have you ever gone to someone with a grand proposal and you think it's the best thing you've ever seen site. How about a quantum. We do this all whatever slack just take the air out of the balloon number three. Don't ever pray with week abandonment folks week abandonment is understandable. For those of us who live this life because many people are scored by the rigors of life and we become weak and frail, but don't allow week abandonment to rob you of your expectation week abandonment is a raising nation brought about by circumstances of life that basically throws caution to the wind, number four do not pray with the inevitable consequence that you know inevitable consequences well. Lord, I'm going to get on my knees and pray, but I already know what will be will be done. Pray with inevitable consequence folks that's taking and going from the sublime to the ridiculous. That's the paradox of theology gone on one hand is God.

I on the other hand, and feeble man.

God is in charge and there is a sense in which there is any inevitability, but these things belong to the ministry of the Godhead, a God who is so mighty and powerful that he rules this mighty universe and yet he so small he can live in my narcotics planet. It it is that love between a mother and a child between a husband and a wife. My wife knows that I love but I don't make any inevitable consequence of that, I don't just go through I was saying. She knows that so get a life you don't. Sometimes we can pray with an inevitable consequence. Number five with Harkless and Joy were here's a contradiction.

Do not done pray with Harkless joy just Harkless joy folks. I do know how base to demonstrate Lord here I am in this place where will these unfortunate people are II just thank you for letting me live in a place like Spartanburg and you blessed me so much not know these people deserve to be where they are. Boy have they are strict and I wouldn't listen to anybody. I just try but listen, I'm gonna pray anyway that you will will will be done on earth can you feel the these are Harkless joy.

There, it's kind of like two sides of the same picture. Don't pray like that. You gotta be like Jesus and stand outside of Jerusalem and weep with compassion in your heart when you pray number six. Don't ever pray with arrogant determination, arrogant determination in pray the Bible's got some harsh words to say about that with the Pharisees, a person who prays with arrogant determination is a person who bites themselves to the seat of God's righteousness in and of themselves says listen, I'm not any believe in the power of prayer, but I claim the power of prayer and let me tell you what I'm gonna do for you sister forgive me and rubbed my goodness what a powerful reminder of not only believing the power of prayer, but claiming it.

Oh how we love to stand with you to pray with you, claiming the power of prayer in whatever's going on in your life if you don't know this number, if you haven't jotted it down or stored in yourself. This is the number The Encouraging Word 866899.

That's 866-899-9673 is Dr. Don would say we would be honored to be one of your 2 AM friends, someone you know you can depend on. Even at 2 AM talk with pray with me to connect with resources to help you grow in your faith 24 seven love to be available for the number again is 866-899-9673 or online as well. I TW online.org that's TE W online.org delegate] of this magnificent teaching from Dr. Don Wilton.

The subject of heaven on earth. God has told me that if I pray for you. Are you going to be place to walk because I could change the mind of God. That's arrogant determination number seven. Don't ever pray with weary desperation don't grow weary in well doing, I know many people I know many people in our community who have served the Lord with such precious determination you been added to and you persisted and it's very easy to grow weary in well doing, and whilst this seventh way not to pray is so easily understandable and these are very thin line many times people who are going through major crises.

Major hurts and major pain will lapse into praying with a weary desperation old woe is me. I'm just going to call on your lay and it almost becomes like a inadvertent back goal way of of saying I'm praying and I want you to have sympathy on me because of my role in life.

Study the life of Job. It's a difficult thing to overcome. Don't pray with the spirit of weary desperation.

Number eight. False humility not something that's spoken. It's an attitude of the heart so easy for us. I know how many times in my own life that that I get ahead of myself. I get tired of hearing my voice because I'm a public speaker, sometimes you and I can become so cool topping in who we all and don't put on a sense of false humility in an effort to try and please God, because God looks upon our hearts number nine.

Don't ever pray with the spirit of arrogant pride.

You know what Jesus had to say to the Pharisees. They stood on the highways and they beat they chased him and based lifted up their voice and said thank you Lord that I'm not like this sooner over here that I'm able to come in, praying, and you know Jesus had some harsh words to say about that and number 10. Don't ever pray with ritualistic repetition don't pray with ritualistic repetition here in this passage in Matthew six and verse seven Jesus said, he said. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of the many words folks tell you something really surprising. Don't repeat the Lord's prayer over and over.

Don't do it.

Don't fall into that trap. Keep on asking yourself Lord.

Nothing wrong with the Lord's prayer. Love the Lord's prayer, but he didn't give us the Lord's prayer to pray in a repetitious fashion where it just becomes apparent fashion statement. Where we are no different to the pagans don't design for yourself a little prayer that you just pray every time you get on it. This is the prayer that operate. Be very careful that you need to not know what is judging you for that. I'm not certain he judging God's not condemning you, you will examine your heart before the Lord.

I'm just telling you what Jesus said so when you are asking the Lord that his will would be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Don't give yourself to ritualistic repetition. Folks, I'm just telling you I there are churches all over the place. They do get up there. They sing the doxology every time they meet they pray the same phrase every time they meet I'm scared of that.

I'm afraid of that because Jesus said don't do it don't do it now.

Cannot say the Lord's prayer over and over again. I mean every word absolutely.

So who's going to be the best you've got a judge that in your own heart.

It's not something that's imposed upon you, but you need to come into the presence of God with the fresh understanding.

Alright I'm going to close with this you're ready top 10 ways to pray. This is what we should. That's what we should do what should we do. I don't I leave you with the what we should have a all the top 10 ways to pray, asking God to make known his will upon earth just as he doesn't have a number one worshipfully pray worshipfully in an attitude of worship number two carefully.

Be careful what you are asking for. I've heard people say what job he's going to give you what you are asking for another subject, pray carefully. Number three pray specifically to an amazing thing that we mean fearfully and wonderfully made in the presence of the Lord is he he's not. But even the very hairs upon our hands in his presence. He knows us by intricate detail scene can be specific. He wants to know heat you can talk to him about your marriage what's right what's wrong your business failures or shortcomings. Unborn child struggles in new weight loss program on a grid not go there but you know will easily you can you can talk to be specific. Don't hold back with the Lord. He saw what heavenly father is he not on number four.

Pray obediently that's what he expects of us pray obediently I'm going to do pieces, turn right moment, then don't turn left. Number five pray humbly again that sole quality of the heart is not legislated, it's a heart that is right before God, pray number six constantly wonder if there's anybody tonight you ready to give up the ready to stop. Don't. I guess I could use the word continually pray constantly, don't stop, don't stop praying for your wife, your husband, your son, you don't grandchildren don't stop.

Keep it up. Just keep going to the Lord. He's listening pray expectantly number seven in all that great Methodist preacher John Wesley put it, perhaps better than anybody I've ever heard. He said attempt great things for God, expect great things from God attempt great things for God, expect great things from God. It's 7 AM whole lot of us gathered here in the century upstairs and downstairs and prayed all over the century do that every Sunday and we try to pray expectantly I standing right to walk down when upstairs I prayed over those peers radically in the in the balcony. I prayed for you this morning I prayed expectantly. Lord, I'm just asking you to do a very special thing here today.

Pray with the great expectation number eight pray accepting only it's a tough one except for God's going to tell you and I we I mean, that's me to the team on Lord. Tell me what to do.

Is that right now I don't accept that, pray, accepting only number nine pray unselfishly pray unselfishly when you pray unselfishly what you do is you pray looking outward and inward look to your fellow man look to others and the Lord will give you a special time in presenting yourself. There's nothing wrong with playing for yourself folks don't think your less spiritual because you pray for yourself. Nothing wrong with that.

Of course we must do that. But when you pray with an unselfish attitude what you're doing. It's like when you bake a cake for somebody else. You spend will let Diane and you bake that delicious cake and you gonna give it to somebody else you know how you just it does something for you in the cake you eat is even sweeter because it's more blessed to give than it is to receive and then finally the top 10 ways to pray pray spiritually say how do you do that pasta well.

Every believer is indwelt by the Spirit of God. When you pray spiritually. That means you crying in the spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, you are accepting the fact that he dwells within you. He's giving you actress the spirit of God is even making groanings for you. He's talking for you when your pain is so bad you don't know what to say, boy, that's a deal is pray spiritually well you know I pray for you and you pray for me that we strive to serve the Lord to give Jesus looked at his disciples and he said I'm in a I'm tell you what to do here when you pray, pray this, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I pulled this message heaven on earth.

As I just came to fresh understanding that all that God is doing and have right, sometimes it's mind-boggling to think that for us right where we pray that you would know that it all starts with a single commitment to say yes Jesus Christ done. You've heard some great teaching from Dr. Wilton but right now as he comes in the studio would you open your heart to these closing thoughts Dr. Don Wilton Lord has spoken to you hasn't you ready to give your heart to Jesus. I'd love to help you right now.

Dear God, I know that Arneson I know that Jesus loves me and died for me on the cross right now, I repent of my sin and I can face my sin to the Lord Jesus Christ come into my heart and save me today and forgive me for my sin. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

If you pray that prayer we love to get along literature and I want you to know that I love somewhat like some for the first time some rededicated whatever is going on in your life right now.
