Matters with Dr. Cheryl Davis, she examines how pop culture has crept into the back door the church teaching doctrines and principles that are deceiving some believers. The apostle Paul warned of such deceptive teachings in first Timothy chapter 4 when he writes the Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith following deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Dr. Davis begins a new series today going into labor how some churches are perverting the truth.

Teaching ungodly principles and a counterfeit gospel there's Dr. Davis going into labor. I am Dr. Cheryl Davis in a number of past theories I have discussed God's prophetic timeline and over and over again. I had stated that we are living in the last days, we need the absolute truth of the gospel in order to live in peace in our current world today, especially our country we have missed the absolute truth of the gospel in recent events in our nation. The purpose of the truth project and truth matters is to serve the church in the world and to be a trusted and authentic source of truth in these last days. The Bible is our ultimate source of truth, and the Holy Spirit is our ultimate source of power in these last few months I've been spending a lot of time with God in prayer, meditation, and listening to other ministers and teachers about the events of the recent days. I watched a message on YouTube by Rev. J. Darrell Turner entitled, is this the beginning of sorrows.

He referenced the passage in Matthew 24.

The sermon on the mount where Jesus is talking to the disciples about his second coming, the disciples asked Jesus in Matthew chapter 24 verse three now as he sat on the Mount of olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, tell us, when will these things be and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age. The disciples had heard Jesus discussing his second coming. And like all of us. They asked for a sign to be able to recognize the important event in verse four Jesus answered and said to them, take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, say that you are not troubled for all these things must come to pass that the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Rev. Turner stated that he believed we are in the beginning of sorrows. I would like to examine this verse in the context of our nation. Currently and agree with Rev. Turner and that we are in the beginning of sorrows.

In Matthew chapter 24 verse four and five, Jesus tells the disciples to take heed that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ, and will deceive many.

The church and the world has seen this over many years of men claiming to be the Messiah in establishing religious cults, however, that enemies seem to be more external of the church rather than internal.

What I mean is that large numbers did not follow way based on an earthly Messiah.

The church seem to hold fast to Jesus and that these earthly messiahs were not his second coming.

Also, these religious cults did not line up with the Bible typically enlists to self-sacrifice and death in a number of cases, however, it appears to me that the enemy has penetrated the church and it seems that the threat to deception is more internal. What I mean by that is that churches are leaving denominations and falling away over interpretation of the Bible. The Bible is still their source of truth, but they are not presenting the whole word of God. They are presenting a partial gospel truth.

Recently I read an article released in February 2020 regarding Eakin Assembly of God and Kyle Texas. They have fully embraced inclusion of homosexuality within their church on the peeve to the homosexual Christians can preach there is no such thing as a homosexual, Christian Aiken church referenced the Reformation project, a source of material in the church has chosen unity over uniform. The Reformation project is a group founded to enlighten and reform the modern day church to inclusion behind this to turn a blind eye to sin and not follow the teachings of the Bible in these changing times. There is been one message that is never changed.

And that is the message in the Bible taught and twisted the context of Scripture perverting it for their own selfish and diabolical purposes with the truth in God's words been stronger than ever.

Read it for yourself so that you may know and discern what is true, holy and acceptable in the eyes of God.
