Our show covers topics like how to deal with trauma after abuse, mental illness, or anything that you suffer that could cause PTSD I we also speak about common misconceptions treatment and healing options. And today I'm joined by Boris Niccolo Morris thank you and you know boys. I have to tell you that I was really moved by a post that I read and that gave me the idea about how what to speak about today.

This person writes my therapist is telling me so many things that give me hope that my heart is struggling to believe you fought and protected yourself the best you could.

You are not to blame for not telling you are now weak. I'm an educated professional while I know in my head these things have to my heart is fighting us.

Why are we so hard in ourselves and how do we finally convince yourself and find peace.

Well, I don't have a lot of knowledge that I can tell you my experiences and that's where what you get for me. My experiences and how I said it I realize that I wanted to emphasize overcoming shame and guilt by focusing on forgiveness and God's unconditional love because Dale we all could both have different symptoms and the severity and characteristics vary among people. We all a lot of us have suffered long-term abuse and have complex PTSD art. A lot of the survivors deal with the feeling of shame and guilt. I know that it took me a long time and from my own experience I learned that bad actions you end up having negative coping mechanisms that lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem or the willingness to tolerate abuse. Sometimes subconsciously self sabotage. Definitely self-hatred but these feelings are among the most problematic because when you do hate yourself and when you do feel hopeless.

That's when he can lead to suicide. So.

But here's the thing. God loves us no matter what God forgives us no matter what God is always with us. I know I know this for and I ran across a testimonial that will show you just how loving our God is because many say something wrong with feeling you know we were miserable and we don't find a way to get ourselves Saturday. I think to myself. I'm sure the devil wants me to listen to these negative thoughts. I'm sure he wants me to be miserable and depressed. I rather think that something's wrong with me, but here's a testimonial called praise God from delivering this man from demons visitations by demons just principal imaginings of fiction writers in Hollywood movie producers really occur. Joe Hanselman says they do. There are demons that are set to keep us from God.

There are demons that are set to do nothing but to frustrate the maturing process. There is no other grand scheme that they have but to do those two things. Joe grew up in Missouri you to the church as a boy, but never had a relationship with Christ even when he was young Joe concerns a spiritual battle brewing around I saw love ride my bike there is a bypass that ran along the ditch and arrived for my friends house and I just really fell this this this presence of of light on one side and in the presence of darkness on the other side of this, shrug my shoulders. Whichever one of you gets reversed can have Joe had few friends. He also never knew his birth father the loneliness and fear. He felt as a child would lead him down a dark basing outlook for back that would be relationships. It was of the piece of my life I felt was missing what his mother and stepfather separated. Joe began to fill the void in his life with alcohol and eventually the occult start experimenting with a Ouija board which opened doors that would not be easily closed very powerful experiences that I just felt this something extra that something was different than walking down the street that I Soar in the yard and they would just start hissing later as an adult, Joe med, three demons demons have really started started making themselves very known to sorcery of one was a manipulator she took on the other female persona.

On the other was a tormentor and he took on the mail persona and the other was the mastermind every night I would meet with them and they would just fill me with this knowledge of the kingdom of darkness and how they operate was one of those moments outlook if you'll just let us teach you that will give you everything you want juicers.

The demons began prodding us Christians.

They began to put man in situations where you know you have goodhearted Christian people evangelists out still preaching in the streets.

I would engage them in conversation and nine times out of 10 they would be outside with me later smoking a cigarette, questioning their faith.

That was a big thing to me to be able to unhinge a believer one evening juicers. His demons told him to go would disrupt the church service.

They told me to mock God in his own house, and this was exciting for me and so we go to this little tiny storefront church is always walking into the doors.

Those three handlers had to stand outside the door. It wasn't that they they did.

They didn't want to go in.

It was that they couldn't go that night. The war for Joe solely intensified.

The singer began to sing about taking the children back from the devil and I got it infuriated just was just boiling inside of me and I was wanting to explode in the tell a man leave the children alone their mind.

Eventually the pastor gave an altar call this lady comes to me and asked me if I wanted to except Jesus told a lady or you're a woman of God.

I want nothing from you because you got nothing I want I will have any clue how I got there but I was at the altar almost 45 minutes they were just casting these demons out of me all over the sanctuary is all I could think about was another waiting for me right outside this wheel lady was pat me on the back and she's how you're to be okay son it'll BRI, don't worry juicers. Although he accepted Christ that night. He didn't surrender his heart. He broke those strongholds off of me. But there was still doubt that that broken heart that he wanted to heal. I remember looking back as I was getting into the car at those three handlers and just the hate that was they were filled with in the darkness, and that was all just directed the man I knew that it was on, you know, I knew that they were coming for me over the next nine months he went on a drug and alcohol binge trying to run away from God.

I was so willing to run back into the darkness of trying to get high enough to try to get drunk enough and trying to do enough crazy things to get this influence of light away from he was arrested for robbing convenience stores and sent to jail, he became involved in a prison gang.

It was even planning to kill a man to prove himself but then November 16, 2002 are set on a park bench overlooking the prison yard. Another gentleman that I have been several violent altercations with common is asked me some questions about boy Joe was faced with the many bad choices he had made in life.

God used him to speak his truth in my heart to tell me that and I have a better path for you and I decided you know what whatever you have for me if you can get me out of this moment. If you have something better than I'm willing to do so I got off the park bench that day and started walking towards God and never look back. Juicers he now realizes how God uses time in jail to speak that I had to be in prison because I had to be in a place where I could not escape, and I could not control because what the world I can get lost. I know what it means for David when he said I make my bed in hell and low you are with you now, because when I ran back out into the world.

He was still there was still wanting to love me before he was released Joe into the 12 step program with God's help was free from substance abuse. The demons that tormented him for so many years God was constantly showing me that he is so much more powerful than any of these things that Jesus can set us free from the things that those things do not have to have the right in our lives that we give.

Upon his release, Joe got a job working with troubled youth at a ranch in Arkansas. He also pesters a small church administers to those who struggle with demonic influences in their lot.

Jesus says that we can know God as God knows us and I want to know how many hairs on his head. Intimacy with Christ. With the father lost and dying world out there that needs to know that he loves us is more powerful than any darkness that could ever overtake his grace and his mercy is really really fills my heart with joy. God forgives jail for me. I needed many times in the air and welcome Neil I needed to be a single young, because I live in peace.

Hence why he fought so hard and cared so much because I had someone else to care for so you think Lawrence exorcism has been for ages, something that the church has been doing so because the Bob is always trying to darkness. I was reading an article on her shoulder was aired on CNN 2017 there was a psychiatrist, the one to treat the woman she was processed and then he started believing in demon possession so I can swear I was dealing with demons when I was a taking. When I went to the dangers of doing drugs all night long in the middle of being high. We cry that God please release me from this person. So yeah, whether we want to believe it or not there is and there is demons and it's something that we have to deal with and the problem is speaking has to start with us has to sit with us because if God can love unconditionally and characterize to do the same for ourselves, to not ourselves unconditionally.

If God can pick anything up to me to be forgiving with others and with herself and you know the doctor this famous movie.

The right was based on actual work of a real psychiatrist, Gary Thomas is one of the most famous exorcists in the United States.

I'm sorry he's the priest that is going exorcism and then he when he has programs because the psychiatrists to help Gulliver Dr. Gulliver so there's rather than lose it. When in real life.

Yes, there isn't anybody just joined us this is a care on your hosting a capital where lie on 880 and that this every Friday at 2 PM and our phone call in number is 305-541-2350 again that's 305-541-2350 and this song is a sing-along that's called art God is an awesome God is a and and and and and and and violence, poverty issues not speak their book to overcome all obstacles and show the love of God, your husband and your family. You can succeed. Love is the answer. God is the cure reveals from a very sincere and honest position. Amy Cabo's life, a warrior who didn't give up and achieve the dream of her life. You can get to know more about her at her story on www.godisthekeyword.com buying her book on Amazon.com and now we continue with Amy Cabo and the two on 880 cell care hosting on 80 a.m. today where talking about how to feel better trauma and basically focusing on feelings of shame and guilt that can be very dangerous and can lead to suicide. Here we were talking about God's unconditional love and the unconditional that he has friends so we discussed the problem.

The problem is to today, among many, many people and happen to know this from personal experience that it's important to know that God is patient wait for us. He's picking and he's understanding. If this fondest temptation. God leads the way out any the bright side to every situation. In fact, he stopped me to look at the bright side to every situation. Give me any situation I find a bright site, even if it's done well. This provides what is needed. If you see can and sometimes even if you don't because you know that he sees your heart and he knows your potential even if we may not be aware of it ourselves, and the most important part is to know that it's possible to see you. God is the chair that touches the hearts of their people.

I can't begin to tell you patient Bobby has been with me how understanding not that he's her fate. I mean, I focus on his strengths, not his imperfections or his shortcomings and like to complement that he'd humbled that is not. He does have his shortcomings.

I'll tell you this story ran. I had gone to the dentist in my mouth was completely numb like do I feel I can eat something I ate my tongue needed, exaggerated, and I bet it. I did a pretty bad cell Bobby it and did not know when I had injuries.

Okay, the math feels so he does the so gullible me, but he leaves them and make my mouth is tight as possible and do my favorite escape when I don't know what to do.

I go to sleep to fall asleep and I wake up to Bobby taking in on me and as soon as I open my mouth until blood splurged out I can do this and guess what I did need multiples stages so that you know you take it, it's fine because God because Bobby was that way with me.

I learned to be very forgiving with others. Even with those who have hurt me. Believe it or not, each one of us could be a good example and behaviors can be contagious because God forgave me. I forgive others. I don't have a love for others and I think how they would feel much easier to keep it together and to feel better when you feel like when you want to feel bad if you think about those around you. Love you, that support you, how it might affect them. Nine times out of 10 I always cheer up families around no matter what I'm going to use God's mercy kneeling you Danny when life looked hopeless at 18 or stand at 15, got me. I need to hire him. God knew he sent in God Neil I needed copy who was my wonderful partner and I don't know how Ethan how did you do it this year's are so challenging not just because let's face it, I didn't really deal with my stuff until I put the book on and off dealing with so many other things may well you you been trying to help yourself for a long time just so little is all successful but did you have a lot of patience to to be there for somebody that is help.

I like to be patient while sometimes. I was a very patient with the soul that's okay person. Anybody that is listening.

If you get frustrated when you deal with somebody that house herself his shortcomings. Sometimes thoughts) with humans, we are human revolution with you so well explained to you because a lot of people say don't let the past honky Wright that for someone like me who I might pass when it will might get to my surprise it was quite draining and emotional so much that I had to turn to alternative forms of therapy and Bobby knowing that we try to be kind of medication and I just wrote assistance and I depend on the next new medication and before you know I am feeling like a guinea pig to think which then you know can infusions so I did that and outplaying. Yes, it helped me over the home and let me explain to you the experience experience of pain infusion. It's when you feel really pretty bad. Medication is not working.

It is an out of body experience, and it does give you little feeling of euphoria kind of feel embraced by. I felt embraced by God's love and it changes your frame of mind your way of thinking. You see a bigger picture and not so focused on what's going on in your life what you think is going on rolling your life. I don't know how that happens but somehow it does happen. I'm not big into out of body experiences. God knows I've done my share of drugs. So before you knew it, I didn't need it anymore while also supposed to help reset the brain chemistry and make it work better noted on the hard work through depression.

While it doesn't improve your mood. Yes, the bank industry that's responsible for your mood.

It's about improving Sebastian feel better, which he did because he gets a point we feel good enough for you don't need to tell anyone so funny that you're saying no, don't know if you know I think you know there's a new drug that is approved by no more than making them commercial with its intranasal variant of gator minutes got this ketamine to be approved is approved already is going be available soon in doctors offices for people. The Suicidal thoughts that are very depressed and works almost immediately just wanting collation in your nose as an interested Olympic to see if you have reaction of sorts and they monitoring but this is definitely a big option for people to suffer from depression will be the is do your thinking about committing suicide and I believe this is going to be a big big breakthrough. Well I'll tell you what else it did for me. I went from four medications for my depression to only one and my severe stomach pains me number them disappeared history, diagnosis, you checked my esophagus and stomach was a little duck a lot of mystery diagnosis was a very mysterious there was no other reason for that so physically. It was kind of related to your depression will often guide you as this always looking for ways to help me kneeling you thinking that you know I developed several techniques to help myself feel better and I will share to you soon after this testimonial, which is just another example of God's unconditional love. I have to tell you this guy.

He was tattooed from head to tell talk the talk and walk the walk.

Gang stress can be. This is Romans 1312. In real life with Jesus Christ and all will you will you will will will will will will will you will know all you will shape will will will you will will you will you will you will will you will you you know will will will will will you as well. You will will will will will will will will will will will you will will will will you will will show you now I've run into these videos and he realized that God's mercy is unending is never ending his law. This is no comparison.

And I'm grateful that I preached times in my life been so desperate that the choice to seek God because it gave me a chance to know that I can get close to get better so what do you do when you're feeling bad by having negative thinking or feeling well when ideal Truscott. I know it will pass.

I know that he doesn't give us anything we cannot handle any know that he will give me this strength.

I need like to highlight his pain and that's how I talk to God, and you can have conversations with God is a good way to feel good about yourself.

Be kind to others. When you pray, you open up your eyes and the dialogue changes instead of saying negative things. Thinking of saying that he thinks himself he start thinking positive, giving yourself and something I used that I learned is I tell my kids and I tell my friends, Wendy Wendy assume some things that happen time and negatively. I only say ATP ATP, which means always think possible. Think positive. I always look for the bright side, and I'm sure I find it and if I'm ever confused about what is the right thing to do. I think to myself while Jesus did. If Jesus is right here right now. What would he do if he was watching. If this person is Jesus because I'll tell you what in the Rosie that I praying they also have seen in the Rosie and sass that the Virgin Mary she shifted her housework, she dealt with our neighbors and Wendy say she dealt with our neighbors. I gather that that would be.

She was kind to her neighbors and also I think that God wants us to be self disciplined that's how we can feel better about ourselves and what I mean by self-discipline is on the 10 Commandments, even mine, not even the smallest things because if you can.

If you can follow away or stray away from God and the smallest things. It could get to bigger things. But if you do keep God's word and live your life that way.

God will bless you, I can guarantee you this because he has blessed me to where I am still amazed.

It can also entertain you say you can integrate, exercise, and sometimes when you can do nothing at all just sit tight that it will pass that I did understand they did come to an understanding that you feel better by laying in bed all day and age has to be productive, even if I can get feel like getting up at all and they I actually learned some positive coping mechanisms like getting myself as a minimum set of daily responsibilities sure to complete that you know with reasonable once which usually help me feel better and if I don't complete them all that I intended to compete in that date, and I recognize that I was able to do what I did and I try not to be hard on myself because it only leads to frustration and frustration only leads to anger, which only leads to feeling bad that even the smallest accomplishments. I'm grateful for and I know it's important to be caring and understanding to yourself. So not only is God forgiving always loves us unconditionally, but we must learn to forgive ourselves ourselves unconditionally.

God will help us do have a choice how we live our lives and how we respond to others tell me which way makes you feel better. Does relaying cheaper hatred or anger. Things make you feel better, but the whole cause of this program… At the end if you about to do something about.

So you according to the end.

If you have PTSD that's something that can come very easily. You can easily get you were very understanding will your understanding. So, please explain to other people because what if they have somebody in their family that has PTSD. What is support systems, point of view. Are you actually very important. Everybody needs a friend. So that's a bold essay in the world but you need somebody to help you guide you through through about moment just be very patient with you when you need it and you my needed one day to the Scotus. We need to be there for each other and and then try to help as much as possible for a lot of patients sometimes is that if I so love I realize them. You know with years of suffering.

I realize that is much as I suffered a world in the past that are valid. For example, today was raining right so well that's gonna rain all the way here that I stop leaning by the time we stumble, posting positive words guys with me. I'm still learning about her. I tell him you're more likely to be right thinking positive thinking negative about the I think you're bringing positive energy. If you want. If you think positive.

Now I'm not magical know a minute still group forces well there is positive karma right and people feel around positive people. So yes, think positive.

So something positive can happen yet because everything turns out, no matter how many trials and errors in difficulties you, you find you find along the way. Like attracts like.

I know that I know one without God. I do integrate my life and practice daily pair. I did pretty well from him to this.

Yes and Lee humans because we are made in the likeness of Jesus Christ.

We are to succeed. We want to get better. We want to feel like we have certain purpose to fulfill the one if you needed or worthwhile. So basically helping others and understanding one another and being kind to one another, and all the things that Jesus taught us because I haven't read the Bible.

I saw Jesus of Nazareth and I learned many things from and if you just follow his example as guidelines will find peace will not be so hard on yourself because you will be content with who you are and not focus on your symptoms, you will learn to forgive yourself. Because now what you feel like you worthwhile because you helping others because you're being kind to someone else because he helped Kate with his homework because he helped a little old lady across the street. Challengers ever for this something kind telling yourself nice and basically my medication.

And best of course we have to be realistic to medication only can do some and the psychiatrist is only there for so long. The rest of us and we can be our best friend. I know that I can be my best friend or my worst enemy. So there is such a thing at the union address and it good against evil that good use. Scott and God is all we need, because God is really great so tuning in his chair, on your host and have, though, and this song is called how create are Carrie undulate
