GUESTS:

Bill DeBarba is a 4 decade entrepreneur.   He began the classic “back bedroom office” business, developing custom software for local companies.   His company, BusinessWare Services, Inc. (BWSI), grew until he had a staff developing products and providing services to a base of loyal customers around the country.

In his 40 years of ownership and management, he achieved a great deal of success.   One measure of that success is the fact that never in 40 years did any customers resort to legal action to resolve issues.   He learned how to recognize problems from the other’s point of view.   And he shared that knowledge in his book entitled The Process of Living. This publication explains how to manage the concepts of acknowledging thoughts, understanding feelings, and taking actions.   By effectively   applying these functions in responding to difficult issues, he found the most efficient way to simply solve problems.   If you would like to learn more, please contact him at debarba@cox.net.

We would love to hear from you. They showed yes his suffering and the tenacity of the human spirit. The will to survive in the carriage to keep moving forward despite any obstacle with the help of God and each other. We did provide testimonials to let people know that they're not alone in this show.

The testimony started with me having been a survivor from child abuse well into adulthood. We also have professionals in the medical field and inspirational speakers that are willing to help and get valuable information because education is key. Transparency is needed and I to believe we can help each other for me. My healing came from God that other forms of healing are presented as well to service everyone life can be very challenging. But always know that were not alone in today's show, we will focus on finding our true potential and how important it is to be kind and understanding to others and yourself do onto others as you would have done unto you that Jesus fell. It's much easier said than done.

Do we actually do it. Today I want to talk about how to live a better life and how to solve problems and we have a special guest entrepreneur businessmen who reach the heights of success simply by being kind to others. Now that song that just played power is power from the game of virgins thrown heavy is the crown only for the week because God turns her weakness into victory and the heavy is the journey and knife in my heart couldn't slow me down because powers power my fire never goes out arise from my scars. Nothing hurts me now because powers power watch me burn it down. If this mindset now. It wasn't always mind until I learned to truly prioritize God in my life.

I learned to arise from my scars. I have a growing burning desire to be pure holy tried and true. Only God can slow me down and with God.

I feel like I can take on anything for nothing hurts me now and I didn't always think this way.

It's an amazing transformation, I didn't believe would ever be possible. Many of us have amazing potential, eager to be unleashed. If only we discover that vast potential of the human mind. Today's guest is built, the Barbara built the Barbara is an entrepreneur for 40 years managed to grow successfully in his company business where services bills. Also, public speaker with many years of experience. He learned how to recognize problems from others point of view.

He shares that knowledge in his book the process of living book explains how to manage the concepts of acknowledging thoughts understanding feelings and taking actions. This helps solving problems efficiently. They'll thank you for being on the show we are now live on the care very much for bailing you have a very interesting thought in a very interesting take in life. Can you please explain to us what is the best way to solve a problem.

Well, one of the problem, covering about her art and I want to share with. From going through now that probably represent more of the need for group to a group of people you I was approached by someone at our church a few months ago she was involved with correction program going on call for a select group of prisoners were about to be released and help to adjust to the world outside of many different what will hopefully reduce big problems. Prisoners going out of the world] should approach me after the prisoners would like to learn a little about meditation, which is a big part of the rules of the church I go to and I said I'd be happy to help out there about four or five of us went out for orientation of the corrections officers. We met some of the prisoners and they explained the program and they had a book outline of what they teach and involve thoughts, feelings and behavior to another word for action, which is exactly the outline of my book.

I told him I would accuse him of plagiarism accepted by book had been published so we talked about it further and they came up with the idea of me making a presentation to each graduating class if you will to help out and reinforce what they're teaching now.

Someone told me my first speaking engagements on the process of living was going to be to a group of female prisoners I would've said I don't know what drugs are taking, but they must be pretty powerful as it turns out that's how it began and I put together this program was very nervous the first time I really wasn't sure what to expect. Although I did tell my wife, at least I know for sure.

I haven't.

I have a totally captive audience so I went out there and I made the presentation. I cannot tell you how grateful these prisoners were to have someone from the outside care about them enough to help them recognize what they really can't accomplish because in the environment therein. They don't get a lot of this was very excited and I been doing it now for about four months and it has been a truly rewarding experience.

I would have to say I'm getting as much if not more out of it than the people of civilian instrumental in prison reform. I'm hoping to be super important because everybody deserves a second chance. I agree and what was your concept, kindness correct, because I know that we've spoken about kindness and shut before and I think it's most important to be kind when it's difficult when it's not expected.

Can you tell us a little. I will in fact I can tell you that I was inspired by the corrections officers who were in charge of the program when we went through the orientation. One of the corrections officers continued to refer to his client and at first I'm thinking what's he talking about what client she was talking about the prisoners his people. He looked as soon as his people that he took care of his customers wants to whom he wanted to give.

Now this is not an attitude approach that I would've expected these corrections officers who were doing this work were inspiring. I was very impressed and I wanted to help out in any way that I could that would be appropriate, and that's what began this particular thing. So to answer your question about feelings. I was inspired by the feeling of the corrections officers that introduced me to this program. It says a lot about most of us don't know about correction officers. Yes, unfortunately we are influenced by what we see him. That's not the true way to go.

Sometimes is just showing a little lost when it's least expected.

Being kind when you don't find common grounds so refreshing to people when they feel that their love and their acknowledged when they're supposed to be the lowest of society and their considered just as precious very important and you know another area and I know you know the area.

One of your influences are feeling about ourselves is our environment.

The people we are around the way we are treated the places that we have to stay all influence how we feel about ourselves and that's not aiming about and this is continue to build judiciary rain steam life can bring many difficult situations, domestic violence, addictions, poverty and even sexual abuse by your loved ones. The issue is not stay there, but to overcome all obstacles and show that with the love of God, your husband and your family.

You can succeed in love is the answer.

God is the key word reveals baby cobbles life, a warrior who didn't give up and achieve the dream of her life. You can get to know more about her at her story on God is the key word.com or buying her book on Amazon.com. Welcome back to this town. Is it teaming in any capital in this picture will live on your media also on Facebook later this you will be a podcast just for the cure in any podcast or download our acute quit talking to Bill about reaching our greatest potential.

That was on my way to being a carpenter and cervical nobody but me can keep me safe to such we are our own best friend.

At least we should be.

Sometimes I'm hard on myself disappointed in myself and Bill.

I have to be honest, it's easier to be kind to those who appreciate who will love eight. Who will be waiting there for five thinking others must be also.

But when I see how content my little dog service me you don't mind that I get upset they look at me with kind eyes and didn't catch me they love me anyway.

I love that is how God is seared towards this anyway and as such he wants us to be kind to ourselves. It's actually pickpocket that wants us to feel back on instead we can terminate into learning opportunity. God said the courageous and good cheer. Simply trust him and know that there is hope and hope is the greatest antidepressant pale. We are talking about kindness and sometimes kindness can be challenging and we can be difficult on ourselves and I know that the environment can be influencing, but when when it comes to being kind should be first start with ourselves. I think truly the only way you can get a moment ago very, very true, easy to become people who you know will appreciate will recognize and will respond but too often in life we have to do with the people who don't.

And then we have a choice. Do we discontinue we respond back the way we've been responded to.

Because if we do that were giving up a very important part of its what most people do and so we feel it's okay to respond in the same way. Problem is so much of herself is really to blame.

It's real easy to say well of course I'm acting this way. Look at how the person acted to me and you can and then the person feels justified when in reality you could have been proud of yourself instead exactly you don't need to give up what you really are because of the way someone else reacts because how do you know who you are, what you feel like a bus person trying to say that I had persevered drawing more and more the harder. Sometimes the respondent was. My wife is close but, well, kind person. Just sometimes a rude honestly. We all need help. Well, there are challenges in long-term relationships. For example, there because your mood will trade and then the other person's mood will be affected. Then there is a really difficult time when you go to the bad news is that this will grow well is sometimes a sometimes I think the boss is and then that I make a mistake by being too hard to find but there is still find it.

Don't worry, I'll keep praying there about you. You talk about processing your work. What is up. Sorry, I could use a process in your work.

Tell us what that is what the product is the combination of the three things that make up who we are and there are three parts of us the Primus to find our thoughts are feeling interaction and how those interact will determine what we draw into our lives now most people don't understand that most people don't understand that their thoughts and their feelings and actions that I point most of this to the feeling that the strongest part of the three because that's what transmits throughout subconscious our soul or spirit. However, that's what follows are instructions if our feelings are anger annoyed Boris was talking about moment sets the feeling were having at the moment. That's what we will drawing. Now that's what I feel for you and that's what our children will feel it's transparent that's what anyone children, especially the anyone around you and we will know it because of how they are responding. So when you ask, what if I'm in a bad mood that mean I'm a bad person go.

It doesn't but if you're in a bad mood. You will draw into your life. Some of the same. And when you do you can.

Your choice.

You can say is that other person. That's why I'm sure you can recognize that's why am drawing that it let me change it because it's within my power to censor some people change need to be putting on inspirational music can be. It can be anything, be talking to a friends line now just I like to set up myself for happiness because I know I'm capable of meeting not feeling well so the first thing I do every day. They make my bed. Don't leave the house on everything stating me because I know I will be in a good mood. Returning to a clean house with good smelling candles and that puts me in a good mood and sometimes you can set yourself up if you're disorganized and you're not just set yourself up for being frustrated if you organize yourself if you live in cleanliness set up yourself. I mean there's ways that you can set up yourself for being in a betterment.

I believe any notable personal experiences in achieving goals for the use of your process. I have and I think you know you are talking about having a nice clean environment when you come home. Everything organized. That makes you feel good.

My trigger is accomplishment yes I'm retired now that I'm working on my presentation from working. I've since I last talk you about a hold of the priesthood so everything's been pushed back a little bit but that's okay with you and to me, my satisfaction and my feeling good is tied to what I accomplished. If I waste my day if I spend my day on the Internet looking up the news, which was really depressed so I hear what your particular organization because you'll find plenty and you know and are other things that I can do it at the end of the day if I can look back.

I look back and say I should really get anything done today are nothing of significance that will put me in a bad mood and my wife recognize so. He fell because if I do all my to Laura's and I got a large name than I thought. Accomplished that. Yeah, we had no problem with me with welcome back and things. I mean, he And this is the key. That way I don't care I Justin Bieber and I love the thinking that because God things disappear. Makes me feel like I'm somebody I can deal with all that that night and he can take me anywhere as long as he holds me near. I feel like I'm not, because without God, I'm nobody we're continuing our conversation with Dale about solving life circumstances simply by using kindness to all. This sounds get an it sounds hopeful but there still is a statement that says only those of sound mind can be successful you believe that a person with a rough start, someone who has been accused neglected and betrayed most of their lives and ex-convict homeless person someone is chronically ill from a physical condition.

PTSD or depression cannot make it to work everyday and alcoholic or recovery nitrate or someone with a prescription.

Now that marijuana is legal in many states say something that smokes every day can they still be successful because I can relate all these things that I believe unsuccessful. I do like to feel accomplished and bill for you accomplishment to success that it really depends on your definition of success. Success to me isn't the highest education that fancy cars, power scene, big home left some money. It's the fact that all three of my kids and my husband left me, it's the fact that there is love and harmony, both at work and in my it's the fact that I have found peace within myself and with all others, because even the richest person on the role that has at all can still be very lonely. So Bill, how can we encourage those of us who feel success isn't within our reach. I think the answer to your question is that is a much higher line like that start for someone who has been in the situation that you is as you know, to recognize that the responsibility to recognize that it can happen even if you don't know exactly how it's going to at least you know it's possible you were able to recover based on that. From what you said your belief in God.

Your belief in the guidance that you would have is what brought you to where you are now from where you started so you can better than I can go through the wall. You believe in the power I can spritz police the police to because what you believe is your reality and for a long time. I was believing the enemy C wanted me to believe he wanted me to believe that I was broken or that I was not capable or that I can succeed because whatever situation and God taught me that anything is possible with him and it isn't so. And I learned also.

I read the same to battle. Satan helped and the way that any me, which I called pickpocket because I don't hate anybody in the Devils in a lever word but pickpocket see even tempted I think so much that he depressed them that he didn't want to pray and so on. These negative thoughts that weekend in our mind that we think all there must be something wrong with me, why am I thinking this way, it actually pickpocket insinuating those thoughts and you entertained because you on the other hand, can entertain the other thought and I will give you a perfect example. Whenever I'm in a do something. My first thought, it's not usually the correct thing.

It's usually something that I do without thinking, and it's usually not a smart thing. But if I give a little bit of five. I do the right thing. Why because first pickpocket comes in to give you a chance to do the right thing. If God was there in the beginning there be no reason to do the right thing. So that it took me a long time pal. It took me many many years to realize it wasn't me the bad one.

It wasn't my fault that enemies behind it that the dockets behind it and that because I had God on my side I'm able to fight if it was me. I feel helpless. If it's pickpocket I have gotten my side, I can take anything on and furthermore, once I grew in my relationship with God, I learn to think and see things for what they really were not for what pickpocket wanting to wanted me to think I learned to look at the PDF life to should appreciate things to be grateful and to love unconditionally and that included myself at that required a relationship with God. Everything else, whether it be meditation and or exercise yoga. Nothing else, not even medication or therapy. Nothing else was enough you practice all I you a little bed in the morning when I praying because I did pray every morning I pray the rosary and I did meditate on a two I've often thought my original thought. Prayer is speaking with God. Medication given yourself a chance to and quieting the mind for little while but left the message back to you with the heart, and I think that both are very important you know it's funny because I wanted to talk to you. You believe in the power of fly helps that it's related to the soul, and we have just a couple minutes.

How is it related to the soul, the power of God is related to the soul, to the extent that it can influence our heart are proven that the heart has its own little brain so I recall I believe it's called sensory and we can our thoughts can influence if our thoughts are consistent for not giving mixed messages every day or every few hours, then the heart is what actually talks to not thought influences the heart that God can help the heart to direction the heart. So if you have a conflict between the way you feel, think, your life will be directed more by the way you feel what's left for by far the feelings thought your thoughts and your actions are primarily useful to you as they impact your healing which means consistent with the feeling I get confused if you change what you're thinking and what you're doing if you're consistent. Then the feelings can influence the heart heart brain if you will, and that is the element that both were so that is the element the goat as the sole out there searching and it will search for good or bad. Whatever your feelings are that with little to all the conspirators of this not influence being insolent feeling insolent stop happened both ways. Generally, thoughts influence feeling but feelings can influence, but an instant feeling something that happens surprisingly something as simple as someone cutting you off in traffic could create a feeling first and go to the thought that you are in constant communication.

So if you delete if you can manipulate your thoughts. Can you manipulate your ceiling at manipulate you feeling based on your thought. If your thoughts are consistent. The problem is with many people there in a good mood been there in a bad mood or their feeling angry and their family happy and not saying you have to be in one all the time but there needs to be an overall consist in the consistency can be either one could be good feelings about, but it's the heart. Working with the soul but going to draw into your life.

The things that support your feelings. In fact, that's how you know what you're feeling. Well it's and I know it's possible for socks because I've been successful. Sometimes as well. Question, how did you turn from the terrible life you were in what was the first step feeling. That's exactly what we can talk about next we have so way back. You will continue talking with Phil Meaney, love is the answer. God is the key word reveals baby Cabo's life, a warrior who didn't give up and achieve the dream of her life. You can get to know more about her at her story on God is the key word.com or buying her book on Amazon.com back in.

Thanks for doing any capital in this indicator will either be Saturday at 1 PM Eastern radio that they care social media Brazzaville about the podcast that was the roaring 20s by panic at the disco. It's an amazing song that beautifully portrays the realities of today's world so real raw that exciting because everyone is a chance and we can eventually find our way back, we are joined by builder Barbara talking about his experiences matching life in accomplishing successful business as well as dealing with people and ourselves and they'll last asked me what came first morphine. I can tell you I don't think I was born feeling that I think my thoughts had developed when I was a kid, I had a warped idea of the concept of reality and the thoughts is what eventually took me to a different place and I tell you I didn't suffer much as a kid I didn't know any different. I really did had a warped idea. Reality that continued on to my young adult, and for many years thereafter, I had to change my thinking to change how I felt so it didn't happen with therapy didn't happen with Madison. It happened with lots of prayer I got smarter I saw things clear my thinking changed and then my feelings changed things are perfect. I mean sometimes that could be a time that I feel bad. And that's okay buddy I see it differently. I know that it will pass and I know that God will help me handling so that thought process viewing it in a different light. Nothing suffering that back pain. That is a necessary thing as just part of life and maybe as a blessing. It's all the way that you look at things that can influence the way you feel. And that's my best answer for you though. What universe are you from God. Western Western society. We put much value and thought we raised that way.

So for us it would be more likely far more likely to start with God and other cultures.

Not necessarily so much.

But the key is you had the thought under circumstances that would not support the you made the effort to take the thought and work with Haddad convert Felix which converted your life. I mean think about it.

If you had been born to a nice middle class or upper middle class family that was very supportive of you that you went to school you have education and you had a very nice life. Would you be doing the wonderful service you are right now by broadcasting these concepts over the radio. I question that would've selling anxiety. I tell them.

Had I not been through all these things having to payments for doctors I would've probably been a big breath everybody that I know for a fact that would've been big breath some glad that I went to homelessness and poverty and everything that I went to because it just means that it makes me that much more understanding.

It's hard to understand something that you haven't been to yourself. So I like the idea that I can help people and that's the beautiful thing about having a relationship with God that encourages to do good things that you're proud of yourself for like cleaning and being helpful in helping others. I don't feel good unless I feel like I've been helpful. I guess I'm getting symptoms of an old lady already. Thank you for the wonderful feeling you I think you may have been a brat. I don't know that you would like, but I don't know that your life would have contributed as much to others what I do believe it shall be think what I try to focus on the most is not to be perfect. Think God expects that. I think he just wants to see us trying that we try to do better today than we did yesterday everything we need someone everything you run into someone.

What is going to the gases station to have lunch is an opportunity to be kind to an opportunity to bring a smile to that person's face. What beauty is important in life.

Is it having a great job in seeming like you're intelligent and making somebody feel nice or being the reason somebody has a nice memory or making someone feel like they're not alone, that their love. What's better in life and that wonderful goal you know people get confused about goal think that if I want to get a new car. The getting the new car is means I was successful in helping the Joneses now there is a feeling involved in accomplishing something in the feeling is the real goal very well may not be getting a new car. It may be doing something of real value and significance of the people that would give you the feeling that we were used to go and sell that if you set your heart on materialistic things.

It will never be enough because there's always something more that comes out or something better than that somebody else has. Are you just as good because you don't have the same and if you still everything out the window and you focus on what kind of person I others then that then it's always enough because you and you could always grow it at least 20 years. My desire for things keeps dropping in my desire for wonderful experiences to being around people like you to getting inspiration from what others of accomplishment not to compare myself and to say well I'm not good enough because I'm not as good as that person, but to just inspire me to move up in my world a little bit better. That is overcome the desire for sand. Feeling much better until it's people like you that keep hope in the world that you said Denise is very depressing. It there a few times to have peace stories and so what do we know and sometimes we go on in the real world and we get disappointed sometimes so so refreshing when you hear about people that are actually hearing about the prisoners because these are the forgotten people homeless people, drug addicts, it's it's people like you that make a difference in the world and were almost finishing the sheltie, we only have a few minutes left. Thank you Bill for being with us and think each are very talented audio producer Jasper. I appreciate them as well. Without that we don't have me yeah that's when what is going to be available on I told you would be available in September, but like I said I came across something and want to talk about now, but it felt it was important enough to delay to put that in to have it edited to go back through and restart the process.

The book should be out in November and I am knocking on wood right now as we please go to the process of living is you will be able to get the site set up right now it's a unavailable but it will be. That's all set up. The website is just about complete. I should have that in place in the next week is the process of living.com and you will be placed there for people to if they wish to have me come along and do speaking or in any other way about that to go away. More information on Delta Barb got a got a six year guests now try to use the word someone who wishes to remain anonymous. I have grown.

I took a moment to reflect and realized while I have grown things that used to bother me no longer have my attention. My faith in God has elevated another notch unseen things that seemed out of my reach right in my hands.

The process has stretched me molded me shaped me into someone I had always genes of becoming.

I am grateful thankful and possessed good day everyone trusting the processed. Let's pray me the road rise to meet you made the wind always at your back meet the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again.

May God hold you in the palm of his hand and see quotes from the Bible. Those who trust in the Lord will find you strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint. I see 4031. Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you, I will help you. I will approach you with my righteous hand. I see 4110.
