We are broadcasting today life of Miami, which is very cool today and later it will be a podcast now show deals with suffering the tenacity of the human spirit will to survive in the carriage to keep moving forward despite any obstacle of God and each other.

We do provide testimonials to let people know that they're not alone and they show the testimony started with me having been a survivor from child abuse to Wellington young adult. We also have experts in the field and inspirational speakers that are willing to help us with valuable information. Knowing that education is necessary. Awareness is vital in comfort is needed. I believe we all suffer or have suffered from some thing nobody's accent and we hope to be a source of healing for each other. My healing came from God that other forms of healing are presented as well to service everyone life can be very challenging. But always know there's always someone who cares that soundless history by one direction anything is when you have a relationship with God tend to think and more often.

So let's say when you're going from one place to another. Driving in the car. How many songs do you listen to maybe three or four years. The ones that I can relate. And here's my take. So history when I hear this song I think about my history and all the craziness in my life and how we all always made it out alive and as we if I was alone just guided me. We were definitely holding on. When I was weak God was my strong though I didn't know that my treasurers history can make us the greatest team the world has ever seen. Besides think I see that we would live forever. Someone who has a very big history and is extremely grateful to be alive.

Despite surviving Vietnam is Bruce Mary who is a successful entrepreneur. This man, thank you for your service. You guys are heroes.

We hope you guys will be pleased today with an amazing and incredible story that paved his path to success. Thank you so much for being with us today. On or about comfort you in Miami from hello from Miami.

Your words is a cold in Las Vegas. No actually be about 75 in Miami. I think with the same lightly over 68 know it's colder in Miami and thank you for mentioning. I appreciate that it was an honor to serve our country and I appreciate your mentioning that all is only so many of you Bruce.

I have to tell you that was very challenging times that maybe you can tell me how it all began.

I arrived in Vietnam actually on January 2, 1988. I always remember the date because two people that I love more than almost anybody on earth or my mom and my dad and that's their anniversary Amy so I'll yeah I arrived in Vietnam on January 2, 1968.

Ironically, I think back to Alanna Morgan and her song isn't it ironic well and it ironic that I landed in Vietnam January 2 the next week. The offensive exploded in Vietnam that was biggest outbreak in the war we had over 500,000 troops there in 1968 when I arrived. That was the worst year of all in Vietnam. So I arrived at a very very dangerous time, but my spiritual story with God start like this in April 1968, we were driving on a Very Desolate Rd. in Vietnam. Vietnam. Gorgeous, beautiful country, but of course it was very, very dangerous. Anyway, we were all alone and we decided we had to driver up front, I was behind the machine gun.

Believe it or not in my best friend was seated next to me. We agreed to stop the jeep. The Army Jeep and take a photo of all of us in that beautiful countryside. We took the photo. When we got back into the tree. My dear friend for Bruce. You've been behind the machine gun. Let me be behind the machine gun you sit down. So our driver started driving and within a few minutes we hear this burst of machine gun fire. This was from the BC and they shot and they mortally wounded my dear friend and he literally slumped down on my lap. Amy and and sadly died a minute was the worst experience of my entire life. And you know I was devastated and said, our driver took office passes you could went to the next outpost and some of the people who followed the war had seen those terrible green body bag and I literally saw the MPs. The military police take my best friend and zip them up in a green body bag.

I like slumped over the bag and I Amy I literally cried like a baby. I'd never cried like that before. Because my best friend left us forever. He was only 21 years old so that was where my story started. And obviously there's more to it but I did want to share that because it was the saddest event of my life and it definitely impacted my life because of the young kid.

The worst thing you want to have happen is your best friend shot and die you right right on top of you and it was such a sad devastating thing Amy was like so you what you just as young yet, the time when that happened. Amy, I was like 21 years old and what happened with me and a lot of the Vietnam veterans going back then. At that time when we did go home.

We tended to bottle up all of our motions inside and I never shared that experience with anybody. I kept it inside which is not a healthy thing to do. I didn't hear with my wife. I didn't share with my son. Nobody knew about what happened other than the people in the Army and the people that that took the records you know what of what happened because many of the Vietnam people when they came back to Vietnam. Back in those days.

A lot of people were not happy about our soldiers and backed up. When I arrived at the airport in 1968, we were all greeted by a group of people to been like us and they spat on it that was our welcome home so we bottled this is so.

It was so they don't realize that risking our lives for the fees unless changes for us to our feet on Amy you are so right so literally most because I've gotten to know so many of the Vietnam veterans over the years. I am part of the VA the veterans Association.

The medical services that I I see a lot of my fellow Vietnam veteran and almost 2 with P almost all the vets when they got home just bottled up there emotions we all suffered with PTSD and all the terrible things that happened, but most of us All the emotions you know in inside but you let me know in terms of when you have to go to your break, but the spiritual side of of this story, which is very very powerful here. I literally kept the secret for 40 years know that knew that that's what I want to talk about when we going to pay because you had the ideal appearance you had the ideal life.

There was nothing going on. Wrong in your life but this became a trauma business to been day timeline asked for you and you think you're just starting a life I can imagine there wasn't a lot of help on those times or or outlets where there you know the things that we have available today and so yes I really want to know how you did it, how you came out and were able to just survive that. I mean how do you tooth that how do you see a friend die in your arms. I was sitting God, please, please, let me go through anything in the world. The police don't let anybody close to me die. I thought that something a kitten can accept. So I would like to. I would like to look into going to break right now. Bruce so I just I make an announcement that the request type.
