Treasurers we are in this verse to good of the member fear the Lord anointing. Isaiah 11, which should be the sixth anointing and that faith of Jesus is where in this memo section and it's interesting that you know you may know from Proverbs in several other places that the fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And there's no doubt that the letter Mem is often equated with wisdom because as you might imagine, since the Mem also has to do with the Torah. There's a lot of wisdom involved in that and so here we see in this fear the Lord again since it's in the Mem sections can start Mem in the end you're going to see it. That is very clear of the fear the Lord in this particular verse and have beautiful verses that reason English verse 102. I have not departed from thy judgments for thou has taught me and the way that it starts in Hebrew is talking about the judgments which you know starts. In this case it's coming cool. He starts it with two mems so the regular man that would start the word miss but which is the word judgment in Hebrew and so it's cool that you had a lecture wisdom in the beginning of that and and the idea of wisdom and judgment is is really cool thing and it also lines up with the idea of kingship right B of a document yesterday that a king is a Malik it to start the letter Mem and kings need to have good judgment, obviously, and you might even remember the wisdom of Solomon when he you know resided over the two women that were dividing the baby or Nuno got the fight over the baby in the wisdom that he used in that judgment and the idea again between this judgment is. It begins with the Mem but it ends whether that meaning good and and so the idea of essentially the judgment is coming offices that will result in good like all things work together for good, but it comes through wisdom. And so the back part of this verse it says he, you know, I've not departed from thy judgment. I wisdom and clearly that's really important thing if your king it says for thou has taught me and that's just absolutely amazing is that I me to think that God himself teaches us this type of judgment, but that's so true when you think about it that you know if you had a situation in your own life if you think about it were God taught you judgment where it where you were trying to decide between two things, trying to find the good in a situation and and quite often God shows up and and shows us some good.

And so you might imagine, I have a story and in this idea of judgment and wisdom. I'm really really fortunate that for years. When I first moved to the city Winston-Salem North Carolina my pastor was pastor Mark Cordes was over Calvary Baptist Church here in Winston-Salem and sort of a world-renowned pastor at one point time head of the Baptist convention just phenomenal wisdom.

The man had more importantly for month that it was he had this phenomenal relationship with Jesus and to know the man was just to be astounded by how much grace he had and how much he cared about you. We had a huge church over 5000 members. But he knew everybody by name.

He definitely need me knew me by name, and it was none like a situation I I can still remember occasionally he would just call me and say Robbie is Mark you know it was the same as Dr. court surpassed reports that Rob is Mark and really and you know it was just one of the joys of my life was to be under his pastor ship argument with it under his care is pastor.

But anyway, the story wanted to relate was that in this he had tremendous tremendous respect of the congregation and he wanted to back in the 90s build a Christian church I'm in a Christian school. More importantly, that a Christian school, but he wanted to add on a high school side to it because they were only going through middle school and you know, as you might imagine, they have this deacon meeting and I was not there I met several witnesses tell me what happened was the deacons break out in that this big fight because they don't have the money to build a high school, and in this whole big fight is going on in the middle of this big discussion that you can imagine need to discussion a church. If you've never been among these type of things you know to talk about well what happened was pastor course just simply put his head on the table and closed his eyes.

If you get mad to the seed. Best regards had jet white hair. Many EE look very very distinguished. They looked very elective. He was even just a friend of Jesus. The first order. Can you imagine you're sitting there with the saying of God's exit and with Billy Graham of this meeting and always people yelled and all of a sudden this person puts his head down on the table and closes his eyes. What happened it out of in the judgment that's involved in that is just unbelievable to me. I picture the scene often of, and you can imagine that immediately. The room went deathly quiet. Like pastor courts.

His head is on the table and after it. What I understand was quite a pause, he finally lifted his hat up and said gentlemen if God wants to have a high school been.

He will provide the money to build a high school right and so why do we don't. We asked the conversation, you know that that we begin to ask for the funds and if we reach a certain amount that we can get from raising money for this school, then we can go ahead and start the school and in the course you might imagine that pastor courts behind that they raise the money and there's a beautiful Calvary Baptist day school includes our high school. To this day. In fact, my son graduated from the high school.

But what you think about is that is the judgment, like in that moment. And then there's not out of my mind that that wasn't something that he had predetermined or whatever, but in that moment, don't you think taught pastor courts to put his head on the table that you know Eddie was a wonderful man all that, but there's no doubt in my mind that God just said, put your hand on the table if it made it impact that that changed the whole situation right and and maybe as you think about it. You've got a situation in your own life were God taught you in this for the moment what you're gonna say when you needed to say it in the beautiful thing is if we will pause and we will wait on the Lord when were in situations like this where it seems like you know he will give us some phenomenal judgment and and. And the thing about that that Mem is the stone is taken charge right. Think about what he did in his when he put his head down. He completely took charge.

Let's Jesus when he comes into the situation.

We all know who's in charge of and then we know that is going to end up for good and and and you know that idea of the fear of the Lord right it works perfectly in the batlike win-win. When the Lord walks into the situation. It is number one. We know who's in charge right. I love the scene.

I think about all the time of the woman caught in adultery woman where your cues these people make it likely understood who's in charge here. They all laughed woman, where's your accusers, you know that he's in charge. And when Jesus is there. There is not anybody does go stand against you to fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and and and what a wonderful thing that that the psalmist is telling us here that I you know that I be in his judgments.

For sake, not his judgments because he is going to teach me today in this verse in the hundred and 19 NMM section of the hundred 19
