Psalms 119:64 The Love Felt Round The World

Treasurers of teen love and we are today on hundred 19 Psalm we are in verse 64 which is the eighth verse in the habit section and and so as we been thinking that you know like Jesus came up. You know, when the resurrection on the eighth day after the after the triumphal entry and in you Jewish boys would be circumcised on the eighth day and so here we are on the eighth of verse of the head section and so here we see the fruit to an extensive all this idea of being united with Christ and what that looks like, and even yesterday, as we talked about being knit together with the body of Christ. I think you will absolutely love this verse which reads the earth overlord is full of divine mercy teaches by statutes and that word mercy that we've got right here is tested and that tested is the idea of loving kindness and in there you get that that hat is the way that the verse starts like every single letter in the in the mean like every single verse in the head section and so this idea of loving kindness like the earth is full of it and again you might remember when God revealed himself to Moses in the cleft of the rock. You know he talked about Hasid there and we hear King David which actually the end of the 23rd Psalm it says. Surely goodness and mercy will that word mercy again is this idea of Hasid which is God's loving kindness which week we talked about throughout this had section.

This idea of loving kindness is his idea of giving and giving and giving and giving and so when you think about the whole worth being full of this lovingkindness.

I mean it's it it obviously is overwhelming. The psalmist and so he goes the thing that seems to be always on his heart teach me thy statutes. I who, hi hard once in these photos so full of all is God's given him. Interestingly, you know, like it says for those whose much of been given more will be given.

You know how you know in other words, if you get even more. And so even more than he wants. As you've given me all this God is give me understanding of teaching me these hi hard statutes well the end of the thing that I think about with this verse as we talked about yesterday of the whole body of Christ knit together. I don't know if you've noticed in the world. How many wonderful unbelievable Christians. There are all over the world so you know I'm blessed, blessed, blessed, I think often about how God took me out of the car business put me in broadcasting you know back in 2006 and since then want an adventure and I go to the National religious broadcasters convention every year I get to meet people from all over the world and I get calls as I do my shows I get a chance to interview Christians really just I couldn't even count the countries nor could I in a begin to even fathom all of them. The Hasid that I've seen in so many different ways that God is of providing all over the world and in even in rescues, giving it a chance to do lantern rescue which is a show on how this team of of wonderful Christian men go around the world saving people out of sex slavery.

By the way that podcast is absolutely amazing is called lantern rescue and I couldn't recommend it enough. I get to do that with them and and their stories are absolutely beautiful but once again you see the whole worth the whole earth is full of his Hasid and even if there's a girl in India on top of the of the of of the she was up on top of one of the swinging bridges trying to commit suicide and you know she saw on this team from lantern rescuing and he tried climbing up there did to get to her and she was rescued and then put into a place where she could hear about how you know Jesus Lord literally sent this white man all the way around the world to help her not commit suicide. That's how valuable that is to her.

So I get a chance to see all this, but then also I want to make this really personal because it just blows me away with the technology that we have nowadays this very podcast that I get a chance to do every single day. When I look I can do that now I can see exactly where the downloads in other words, where the people are that are listening to this technical podcast I have that information, and when I look across the world.

I'm blown away and I can actually see every single day, and often got puts it on my heart to pray for the regular people that I know are out there like you know there's clearly some people in Brussels that that every single day to get my podcast and I love to pray for them as people.

In Spain there like that people in France there some folks where a lot of folks actually in the Philippines and in India. Lots and lots and lots of folks in India, you know, like when I see those in Canada when I see them in Brazil. I'm like man God, thank you for these people and I don't know how to pray for him exactly, but (and so is again. I always put my email on the show notes and if you got something you want me to pray for you I would be's. You have no idea how it would make my day to get an email from some is listening to this and said Rob you know I would appreciate prayers well I would believe me be honored honored honored for you to do that again my emails in the show notes but also just just how cool is it that we in no way God is knit us together, this team the people United States. You know I look in the United States and I was born in Idaho but I live in North Carolina. In fact, I lived in Illinois and I lived in Michigan and I lived in California and South Carolina and Georgia and so all those places you know eyes I see Kelly's people down on them like I'm on I'm praying out there for always unbelievable places that God has allowed us to see what he's doing right allowing anybody get this has nothing to me.

It has to do with his lovingkindness is filling the whole earth, and Louise doing that is in you right and so as we are taught the statutes, which to me you have everything to do with how do we love the Lord our God with all our heart and all our soul, and all our strength and our neighbor as ourselves. But you know this.

If I learned that when you both to you know I'd be well on my way so you know, but we are we are where we are.

And so, as we just meditate on this particular verse and think what the psalmist is saying is the fruit of being united to Christ is the world is going to be will with his lovingkindness is that thank you for listening.
