You see, when Paul says in verse five that a Christian declared righteous does not work it mean that Christians don't do good works. On the contrary, what he means is that the reason that we do good works is changed. We no longer do good works in order to be accepted by God. We do good works because we have been accepted by God and not put a joy in our works, that replaces a fear that we used to do good work for can be thought of not going to reject me. Now we do it because were so sure he has received us that we can't help. Let that spill out want to be generous. Everybody the way that he was the eyes.
