Nothing says Christmas like a wonderful family in Asia, getting a water buffalo is like getting a farm truck while working getting the stand of the market.

A water buffalo opened. More importantly, it opens the door to talk about Jesus and nothing says Christmas better than that. Over the next couple chosen. We wish him a very Merry Christmas and serving a safe holiday.

Please get some well-deserved rest with the set today.

We've got to talk a little bit about the whole meaning of Christmas and what it means to us to different people and we've invited some guests from our everyday life. Some work associates and friends in different folks to join us. Over the next two programs and right now we've got Lisa Sizemore welcome Lisa, it's good to talk to you. Thank you so much for joining us. Lisa Lisa, this is also a very busy time of year for everyone. I think often times it gets outside with the real meaning of Christmas is, but what we would like to ask you is what this Christ birth mean to you as this is his celebration of his birthday. That being Christmas. What does his birth mean to you what I am trying one that really told to make the final God. Okay not judge God is holy, anything you like he just drop in every quantity that I live knowing.

And finally got like we have the drawing and well in the battle with his arms outstretched great between holy God because he the devil had given away from the cooking between income and down relationship with grave creation and how they will create an came Rocky thinking what I upgrade and that you actually get everything for free and delicately connected.

We just have to think in her mind or just talking like I'm talking to you and there we don't have to be separate from the real meaning what is me me so he's been Christ stored the fellowship and that's giving you the fellowship with God, which would have without that business case for all of us really in the Arctic deal I made.

Thank you. Charlie is Lisa. No matter how we mess up how we feel, as long as we turn to him back to him and don't continue to sin. That relationship is restored will repent. Each time, just the forgiveness of just what an amazing love just you know you've done a nice job sharing that Lisa, if I may ask Lisa what age were you when you first accepted Christ six years old while did you go through.

During that after that time in your teenage years are in college or early adult life or anything that you were basically got off course or to just have you been all core services for six years old course. I probably go college and now you have picked out a charitable all the I knew I what I really connected to God like a broken and I would say somewhere in early 20 I came back and Mike just like the picture I was playing I told him our world college. Thankfully that was a short, and amazing amazing amount of love shows this is Lisa yet so how is because his birth affected your life to the years.

As far as you the good times the bad times. Once you accept such an early age nearly never leaves you that you may walk away in got off course. But how has his birth affected you aside from your salvation, your daily walk like you know that that allows us to have a don't understand.

I got out my life when I think connected and that's what it think and if I didn't have. So the overarching thing would be peace from him back go through all of the trials, difficulties and things that you were sure how you get through a particular challenge to came up in your life you just had an overwhelming sense of peace throughout the journey. I don't have to follow. We don't have to bear over take Elsa think that Scripture is to ensure the spirit of the birds in the field and certainly going to take care of us right that's a how much more bored we are to him than the easy force to lose sight of that women were in the middle of the storm is Lisa Lisa. One thing that came to mind as I was preparing for the shows. How has the commercialization of Christ's birthday affected your thought process in terms of you sometimes lose track of. As you get ready for Christmas. Like most people, how is it affected your thought process does require being deliberate as a result of all the commercialization that's going on around Christmas. Through the years trying to find Christ and that part of the game. People play caulking about eight and we try to focus on family still enjoy it with the statement that you have to keep Christ that said, I was stuck. Oh yes, I thought a dozen and so many people do right there running here and there about this present time about our present fretting over something is not available that the supposed to be available and never slowing down until the last minute to really recall. Remember, why were celebrating Christmas tree was the birth of our Savior itself, so the conversation of the day with someone about today's times people say we don't anybody be offended, so the pits all the stores of quick talking a lot of stores don't say Merry Christmas and works happy holidays which he notes one thing that we have in this country. It's a federal holiday right for Christmas so it's okay to say Merry Christmas because it is a federal holiday, and most importantly were celebrating our Savior's birthday so we sailed tell someone. Merry Christmas is not about the gifts which are going to give or receive is truly about the celebration of our Savior's birthday so to Lisa how would you say you insured little bit about about how to overcome this trend, ensure the true meaning she really didn't deliver it with you children still still celebrate by giving gifts and that sort of thing but I was talking to them about the true meaning of Christmas.

As I'm sure you do your family members know what you well know your heart, what other ways would you suggest that we can do to make sure we don't get too wrapped up in this commercialization peace and stay focused on the true celebration of the lucky and got older back after the get wrapped up in all the shopping holiday like not important. This is relationship people and I like, God willing matter eternal significant identify critical thinking. A day or two later as a consultant credit card bills are coming in and ultimately your celebration, all that sort of thing. So Lisa, thank you so much for joining us and got the top one more quick question in the about 30 seconds.

What would be the message you would want to share about Christmas. Charlie dismissed today Lisa not the greatest gift of all to us was him as a person saved if you accept that to heart accepting Lisa.

We had to do is nothing like our multiple guest on the show so Wendell are you there with us yet well this evening I am doing very well. Wendell such a nice nice thing to hear your voice tonight. Likewise well Wendell.

We appreciate you so much during our show and what were talking about here as we get ready for Christmas in just a few days. Wendell we just are asking some of our followers of Christ that their little brothers and sisters in Christ to us to give us a little bit inside if you don't mind, and the first question I like to give you Wendell is what this Christ's birth mean to you.

Let people share with other believers and others. What will Christ fit in our lives and who I feel you know, we ask a question about the birth of Christ. For me, I can sum it up in one word. I think the birth of Christ for me is a sure assurance I'm talking about assurance that God loves us so much that he sacrificed his most precious possession and everything about that is just an assurance of who he is quickly given a lot of what he can do an assurance that the Bible never promised in Israel. It is an assurance lesson assurance. That's great, Wendell Wendell, I ask other previous guest Lisa this question a bit later down the line will ask you now how old were you when you accepted Christ if you don't mind me asking as your personal savior.

Now I know problem I was nine years old and actually when I accepted Christ.

It was based on the relationship I have with my earthly brother and he introduced me to cry and he witnessed to me and not just a month – when the backyard I'm playing basketball with a couple of my friends that know he took that time and also important to me just having a conversation and that relationship with my earthly brother and introduction that he provided me too much to my spiritual father. Oh well what what an amazing amazing testimony that your bigger brother share that with you list life and he lied and he still to let the data which is which is meant to such a great role model is great. Wendell don't mind me asking. We did go up going to church or was that that your first introduction to Christ not going to church and like you said so I grew up going to church, born and raised in Louisiana and so all the decal mother served on the school and so I was in the cherub choir never choir and the youth department and so on. So I grew up in church, a black after the conversation with my brother church change change from an organization to mourn organism and just having a more connection with with the purpose of serving with the purpose of praising Phil so I've grown up in a Christian home and the grace of God been able to to live that type of life and in my family the same in terms of growing up in a Christian home and to try to serve Christ, you know, it goes back to assurance, you know, just that everything that we have a list earth is temporary. This is a fleeting moment, but we have an assurance of eternal life, and we have an assurance of eternal paradise. And so that's where it started in but that's not where it's going to end so just, share with you that we go along the way. A man great word Wendell.

Great word.

Well, that brings it to my next question.

If you look every life. Wendell got a few sunrises and sunsets behind you, like the rest of this. How has his office, Christ's birth affected your life. Throughout the years how Jesus on the great question I would say you know Christ's birth and has effectively throughout the year. I would say Roy, it enough talk to early about to be an assurance from the mission to be an assurance of also faith accomplished for copper just a guiding factor got it worse. You know when I feel like things will be confusing the world. I can go to the word I can go to Christ when I need word when I need direction when I need know some type of upliftment of motivation. I can go to Christ and you know that all starts back at his birth. So it is been accomplished that I used to help directly in the path I should go and it's something I try not to stray away from, and importantly, you know, we all do to some degree, of all that Compass is always there, and it continues department back to where I need to be at the north start the guiding force that's great Wendell but that was one of the questions that ask God for guest Lisa was the always been on course. I did like most of us did you wander off the high school, college or in that journey, or have you always been tight in your walk question I would say Roy I say that I ever like got off course, but I think the worst times.

I didn't move as quickly or steadily on the court.

You know, again just grown up in the family that I have a been glad to bless McGraw up into knowing right and wrong, but more importantly no one quite always been helpful, but this time critical outfit made in the college years when I could've kept walking a little quicker are are even more importantly, bringing people along the journey with Phil. Those are some things that I would regret but famous does what Christ will that second chance. Though I've been able to make up for lost time. But he's given me opportunities to to to to be redeemed, he things a Redeemer and in every form in every fashion so so I thanked him for that.

That's great, Wendell. In fact, when you're talking about that, it came to mind.

With this being the season of gift giving. What greater gift to give the shirt stored testimony about how Christ is impacted your life so which gives great idea for new gifts right we could potentially start writing a story out as part of our giftgiving say hey here's how Christ is impacted my life in just a few words and read it when you're by yourself. My, what a great gift that would be to talk with our kids about the Thanksgiving holidays as well as the Christmas holidays is really no focus like everyone says the reason for the season, but truly focus on and encountered black and wanted think that would actually get to do sometimes is like to think about your blessed day though so many think that we can take for granted when you start to really count them and see what he's done versus what you think you've done your home might it really just know it really paints the picture and it really causes you just to be more grateful. It really does silly things we don't think about it and things we really don't know at times he's been there taking care of this provision, protection, all those things. It's part of the walk with Christ someday will be revealed to us, but when you stop in and really think like you sharing with with us about it makes a difference.

That's a great word Wendell.

When one of the things it comes to mind about Christmas time is the commercialization that has occurred through the years around Christmas and are we really in today's environment.

We don't even celebrate the publicly the true meaning of Christmas. In fact, often times people don't even say Merry Christmas anymore because of don't offend anybody but we think about the commercialization of Christmas. How is that affected you as a follower of Christ in your thought process for me. I have to sometimes remind myself because I'm looking at all the stuff that's going on. Think about all things are happening in that is that sometimes force myself to stop and reflect on the whole season.

How that affected you. Wendell is a good question. I like to avoid stopping and collecting and think about the time of year with the Latin kids read off a couple weeks and back onto to recharge and rejuvenate ourselves for the upcoming year, but more so to elect and is just like okay great math and presents under the tree. Great God has blessed us from that perspective, but was the true meaning of what the real gift of breath and ended being in his presence and being with one another. And like you say and it saying that a lot of places are replacing Merry Christmas with no other slogans but trying to move away from it right. But what we try to do is move to it and just be intentional like even though we give gifts like how can you put a scripture in the gap.

How can you ship and sure that even the postcards that the postcards but the stamp that you have the birth of Jesus or some reference to it. So let's remove Frosty the Snowman left remove Santa Claus and those things are cute but those things are not going to be terrible things are not going to help draw you closer to Christ. How can we infuse Christ in this and so we try to be intentional with it and with our kids than even you know Christmas day. Just remember the birth of Christ and use in that day as opportunity to set the stage for the upcoming year. So those are a few things that we try to do and we appreciate that elect kids start looking at trying to get gift to have a calculation how they can work that and so it's a blessing the fee and but is something that does require work because the world will try to drive you to a different place. The left always kind of beat that back life of Christ. It is not easy but you know we can't demand here and think that we know it is the workforce later you have to be. We do we do in bold is the key word right you gotta be bold and be loving but be bold and not before yesterday stand on the standards which is great. Wendell Wendell's were getting read Wanda shortly. What would be the one message you want to leave our listeners with some personal relationship with Christ and what got my heart I would say what I like to share with… Is something that God loves no matter what's going on in your life no matter what trials and tribulations you have are electric best as you. You have what you think you may have. God bless you. He's in the midst of every situation and he is right there. He's not not bar and nine keys mere and he's present he's ever present he's ever ready, though at a drop of a diamond in any time just call on them and just be amazed about not only how much he loves you, but how much he wants to take care of you and protect you and provide for you will be reassured and have that assurance that God loves you folks. God loves you heard that several times today. God loves you in the birth of Christ doesn't show that to you. Be reminded that it really does show that to you how amazing it is that he said he loved us so much as it is Lisa chairing the earlier call and is Wendell. I shared that he sent his son to die.

He is your everything no matter how bad it is what you have accepted is to fly to Wendell we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. We got about 30 seconds to this will say thank you. Appreciate your witnesses brothers Christ, always a pleasure to be around you.

Love your calculus truly evident God's got his hand all of you is so forcing first you so much for your time will think you are on your family think the good work and the work of Christ.

Merry Christmas.

Thank you Wendell for seated 2022. Douglas devilish folks will be back next week in the post-Christmas show for seated in Merry Christmas and God bless all the as we wrap up today show.
