Enjoy it Sarah but most of all, thank you for listening you for choosing The Truth Podcast Network. This is the Truth Network welcome to man talk brought to you by T8 W CM is talking and walking Christian men's ministry where they are devoted to breaking down the walls of race, age, and challenging and to take their God assigned as our host will Hardy and Roy Jones Junior, a black guy and a white place listeners, we want to continue our conversation this week with Pastor Lee Roy Marino latte. He's been a blessing and if you heard last week's message. If he if you heard it you will bless if you heard it go back and listen again because you you truly be blessed. So this week we these guys are so busy they always doing something for the Lord. They have inspired me.

I know as a pastor in just to do more service work so this week we're going to be talking to Pastor Lee Roy about the vision that God gave them in Mexico and the church that they've started in Mexico and I'm telling you, you do not want to miss this because it's a it's a blessing. It is absolutely a blessing so welcome again. Pastor Leroy, thank you pastor Mexico yeah you know God began to give us give us a vision for missions at the church and my dad's heart. Mexico is always been in his heart, especially the hometown where he's something a little it say it's a small town that very Catholic-based really there is no Christian church or there really there wasn't no Christian evangelical church in in that town and the pastors in the past would try to establish a church in a location where either run out of town somewhere even stone dragged out of the town. That's how intense the gospel, innovating just didn't accept the gospel while and going back to 13 years ago we had a cousin that lived in that town that he had left in bad terms if I'm not mistaken he had beaten someone out of drunkenness and I think they had stab someone at the same as you know, very violent so we came to the US seem like you know what I just I needed new and you get out here he comes to our house and sure about dad being the pastor that is begins to minister to and led him to Christ's guy gets radically saved. I'm just I'm narrating this consulting so he goes back to his hometown. People began to see something different in his life, and there like this is not the same guy who left this is a whole totally different guy. So that begins to happen in that town right and we began to feel the need.

I got we've been praying for this for a while Clement has been frame at least.

I want to say 10 years at least for the first church to be planted in Mexico in some tiny little and so fast forwarding after a lot of prayer, fasting, we go back and we we had tried to buy property to start building or doing something there.

Everybody knew my dad's intentions of trying to establish a church and nobody would selling property or if they would they would sell it super expensive because they knew no one's gonna pay for that that amount. So we we have this we know we have a guy out of the blue. Call us a front an old friend of my dad's from the town and he's in Atlanta, Georgia, and he's he's going through some kind of financial need and he's like, hey because my daddy is like a IR property next very low percent very central to where you're at. He's like I'm not heard you been looking to buy property. If you can give me the cash by this weekend will make a deal while that is incredible.

So my dad sells whatever he needs to sell again gets the phone to find the cash ready makes a deal while he sows into the ministry again right and then so the property is bought and it's for the church were excited rely God, you open a door really go inspect the property and working to go ahead and do all the legal paperwork. Some at angles of Mexico is in Mexico and as easy as he's in Mexico. Another lady comes up to him and says, pastor, I need you to come on you can pray want to show we just we just built a new property and we we want to come pray for this property. So my dad goes and gets to the property he sees is kind of weird because the square building but no bathroom, no rooms, just an empty square building at St. Mary's like this is the strangest house of ever seen. And sure enough, the lady comes them and says look, pastor, we know you just bought a property for the for the church is like, but we've been the lady built the property with her own money without letting nobody know what she was doing because of course the opposition, exactly, exactly. So she had a bunch of people from the term from the from the town building this property and nobody knew was a church CM and I attribute that to to God when when Rahab here just by here. The spies nobody knew nobody knew you well yeah all this is so good. This is so good to do so. So she calls my dad and she says hey I want to give you the keys to this property. You believe it.

We never touched the building whenever spent money on the building whenever you know never built. It never nothing.

She said on the menu keys gave us a building complete I mean is, not as I was a crazy building church. A man and she's like put whoever you want to pastor this property so we look at my cousin and we tell him you're to be the best.

Nobody else in town had the testimony that this guy had you know 13 years steady fast on the Lord. Seek in the presence of God treating people would respect you know not bashing people with the Bible. Leading by example and I believe that's what became effective in that town because there had been many pastors would came you'll Bible thumping. I get to call 911. Right try to hit people in head with Mylan.

Are you going to change all it of course the people get mad, you know, they found they found him offensive.

So the random out of town but this guy, he led by example and he would win them over and that influence that he had edited easily was a mechanic as well, so everybody came and worked the work on their cars. You know so you either influence he had let us begin a starter because there was no other way we could've started the church, if it wasn't for him, so why, he began, like he was like no there's more educated, more people were more educated and I am get United's name is Ignacio Martinez and he was illiterate.

He could read could not read any told my daddy said I can even read.

So how my supposed to preach the people in my that said God is called you to be a pastor. Guys can use you.

This is one way or another, God is going to use you, and you're going to be used by God and God is going to grow this church and then sent on and you know my mom she always had this verse of Philippians and I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength, and she told him she is a you can do all things through Christ is and strengthen you and and we began to work on him and say God is calling you got as you know you your urine. Are you going to lead people to Christ and he began they built begin.

Have faith, and he began to be used by God and in a powerful way. You know, and his wife would read him the Bible and that's how he would make his messages to priests on Sunday morning so you know, God began to use him and God began to give him an influence in Internet town that we had a lot of opposition a lot of opposition, you know. And while that building was given to us. The first mission trip that we took three years ago to that location was to get the church set up paint the walls nose set up, bring chairs, projectors, all that and instantly the church began to grow instantly.

1020 4050 6080. We just came back two months ago from their almost 100 people are Here in a town where the gospel was not permitted in a place where the gospel was like you know it was not accepted basically and now three years later, the other property that we were number but they have two properties in that town the next property is super huge S will even work on these past three years, and even the same way we been praying for finances God provide the finances. This is your vision so you gotta provide a rare to say that says that Ray Gwen got approval God gives you a visionary. Maybe the provision right exactly so well and we can pray for that guy got, you know, provide financial. This is your church you you can open doors you got you got a figure if you figure out where the money is coming from, you know, I reminded and I believe it's that I'm quoting from memory. Now Joe 25 and 28 that says if you decree a thing okay yeah God will bring that thing the past. Yes, that's what he told later in the book of Job, you know, and if so what I'm hearing about these verses was just coming to media about how you guys are just stepping out. Only faith you and and are moved by this ill.

It's been a process praying for saying guy we need certain amount of money for the roof certain amount money for the break certain my money for the foundation. We need certain amount of money for the plumbing toilets. The seats all the stuff and every time that we prayed about a goddess provided supernaturally one way or another, and so this building is being built basically paid authority. While I mean there's nothing that were doing its own credit. Everything is as we as we but as we build things being paid why things be in bed and you know that's the Scott is in the ascot. I made and he the whole way.

I'm sure we get more into details about certain things.

You know it using people that are nonbelievers to bless the church in Mexico mess that's been intense and you know when you talk about the opposition again versus just go mom just reminded and Nehemiah yeah you know when meat Nehemiah hat.

This desire he had hit his heart was pressed to want to rebuild the wall and every time he came up against opposition and we I'm in the you believers out there with you. I know you familiar with the with the account but came about opposition and and God prepared him you say okay we going to do this wow wow you guys are building we going to have some folks over here with some swords is owed you going to keep watch while you build and and when they finish building the wall.

I'm I'm reminded I think is Wert chappy the 450 of Nehemiah's said that they rejoice with musical instrument is this, they just begin the saying and I just begin to praise God a man area and so as you were talking on all this is going through her mind and I'm just so excited because it seeks Saints of God. God does miracles he want people to know that he never left blessing people who bless him a man because because heat we are commanded.

Bless the Lord all my soul and all that is within me, bless his holy land with command of the blessed love were coming up on a break, but if you guys a lot smile and jump in going somersaults. If you pick now would be somersault, but I'll break my back if you guys are not out there. Rejoice in God on what you hear and then continue to listen because use your soul and spirit is going to stir it up will be back right after this to your CMM would love to have you join their community of men for breakfast every first and third Friday of every month, Bible discussions and fellowship after the best breakfast in town meeting location is at their voracious poster First Christian Church in Connors 1130 N. Main St. encouraged him a hard start at 7 o'clock from a hard stop for the first time visitors eat for free. Join your host will Hardy Roy Jones Junior, a black guy in a white guy of affordable chiropractic in High Point. As you might tell from their name affordable even for the castration. Dr. Jeff Ricky has been caring for patients in High Point for 34 years, physical therapy, such as ultrasound and spinal decompression for distribution such as herniation conference of care for auto accident injury patients with no out-of-pocket expense. Remember, affordable chiropractic on the W. Lexington Ave. in High Point Hall 336-885-1987 is the all right now we're back with man talk radio podcast and we're speaking here with know and I'll let you bless Joe I don't know about you but I am less and we are both highly favored in here now you all know the account of what happened to the children of Israel. When God told him to go in there and take the land you know you had you had individuals who said we can do this. But then there some who said only to who said yes we can. When he sent the 10 spies in they said yes we can. God had that area prepared by the people who live there Canaanites all, bites were in there and and they prepared to slam in God so you just going to go when you're not going to do any telling you not going to do any building you not gonna do any planning because they have already deeded for you. So now St. you about to hear something I do you own the break, he joyfully my mind on this on how individuals just came who did know God and started giving and giving to the cult not you gotta keep remember that what we say what you say last week that this was an area who people who hated the gospel go here past so you know we get to the point where we start tilling the land in the property ready and people who weren't happy with that. But God began to use some people from the town who were believers bless the ministry while and it was a particular guy who owned a bunch of heavy duty equipment and my dad was, were were building and literally inside of a mountain like on the side of a mountain so there is a lot of dirt, a lot of rock that needs to be removed and the guy says hey I like the vision of what you're doing here. He says, and I'm all for you. Take my equipment use whatever you need and all you that I worry about is paying the diesel on the equipment. While I mean that's easily been three to $5000 that he would've got in his pocket but he said you know what I like the vision you know and and in my dad begin to split explained to certain people about the vision and what they're doing in Mexico. So what they're doing is that we got a commercial kitchen on the first floor commercial kitchen and in the commercial kitchen.

They're going to start feeding the elderly of the town so as to be running 24 seven you know just food Hotmail for the elderly and and they also they started building apartments on the side of the church. So that's if they need a place to stay. They can stay no charge take a shower, receive a Hotmail right God and they begin that they begin to build this and a lot of people's know to get behind her like a lid solicit support knowing God's begin.

No open doors with people who normally will will let this happen there let their dinner later that it up and that's all God. That's all got got a place this in favor yes and with people you see there and you know and and and only God can do that only God can do that in and and they've been using people who don't go to church you don't believe, but I believe slowly, God is working in their lives as well in on God's gonna do something in our lives and were believing for that so that I begin to bless that way you know providing financially certain doors being open for the for the construction to continue.

Fast forward to today, where about 90% finished three years Here 90% finished and I mean the buildings 250 people can fit in a place where no gospel was permitted as crazy as you know, 250 people can fit in the church. Now we have two churches because the other church still running and so never you have a commercial kitchen on the first floor with apartments. We just we were there three months, two months ago, and 90% of the buildings Artie finished were probably thinking maybe by January were done at buildings and be finished and will probably invite Elio to come out there for the opening but you know it's it's amazing what God is done in this past year was a tough year for us because the pastor pastor Ignacio I passed away. You know it wasn't covert related, but he had cancer in the lungs and that for us was a huge hit because we weren't expecting it as well. You know it was it was out of nowhere, but God began to lift up his son to take over the church you know and and and out of nowhere. You know the pastor's is struggling with his health. The past two months and the doctors negative news noises not to make it cancers advanced too much and we began to pray about it and believe in God and God. You know what you're doing. We may not understand it, but God knows absolutely. And God.

God does not let anything happen without purpose, and we believe Ecclesiastes talks about that, everything is beautiful in its own time and we may not be able to see the scope of what's going on but God has the big picture to see you know in and although we may not understand that we may not see what's going on in front of us, but we God's big vision he knows was good for us to see daily talks about that those who love the Lord.

Everything is good for the government everything will work out for the better for them. You know, so we began to believe that and say hey God, we understand what's going on with this but you know and you know what's best for your church and Chernoff out of nowhere a son begin to take over the church. He says pasty codices at pastoral worry whatever you need him to be moving the church forward trying to you know get everything going like my dad was was doing and that was another miracle in itself. The pastor's family. I guess we get we are little batons talk so the pastor, your pastor Ignacio is, as I was talking about.

He was a he was illiterate. Ray can read but his family and I converted your really really dedicated to the Catholic beliefs right and his wife was very involved in the Catholic Church very involved in the Catholic Church.

So you know the pastor shop is down the hill and in the Catholic Church is up the hill in another direction, so he would be you would be on the bottom of the hill and he would see his wife come through to the Catholic Church and he would always pray he said God that woman's and you can convert my whole family can become hard so he made a bold prayer and he told God. He's like God I need my whole family come to Christ in a minute I needed to happen in the month if not have to give up ministry because I want to be a good testimony and and God honored that prayer's crazy while within the course of a month. His whole family gets converted and they come to Christ and to get radically saved and they they began to to help them out a ministry and everything and his son picks up the ministry picks up the ministry theoretically change radically on fire for God is one picks up the ministry you know and and that that that was God was God in a happen at the right moment at the right time. You know it, and his whole family converted. They'll serve the Lord and they're all involved in church know they're all involved in the church even even after he's passed away.

He's left a legacy with his family testimony and the the image what God can do with the man who who was in drunkenness who was full of rage man that many people said you know this guys never gonna change, and God takes his life turns it around radically and becomes a pastor in this town, a small town that you could probably walk it in 30 minutes from edge to edge, but in the small town people were changing. People believe and people are beginning to radically be set on fire for God you know and and and we just we see the the legacy that he's left behind, you know and and even in his funeral, God used his funeral to minister to hundreds of people that came from all over the towns doesn't like every 30 minutes. There's town and I want to say at least 10 different towns came to his funeral because people come by his shop and he work on her stuff and they might be from 10 town 5 or six towns away, but they knew him and when he passed away. They came and the gospel was being spread while it was like it was a beautiful picture because in this town were in you couldn't publicly preach the gospel and open corn. I want to say maybe 3 to 400 people were there in the gospel was being broadcast.

Just you know it in his in his funeral service. We believe the saints are you listening say is are you listen then see see what has pastor Leroy was talking my mind went back to the Scriptures again Philippian jailer serves what must I do to be say, believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thou shalt be say, but he didn't stop there, and your household.

You so win-win you when you said that about one month. My mind went back to Scripture, God again fulfilling the promise because of the life that he live. So whatever legacy sites are you are you leaving after CC pastorally wrote talk about the legacy of a man whom God had just brought up basically from rock bottom yet, and brought him up his life was a beacon of light for those who knew him because as pastor Leroy Sadie with you when they were come by. He would work on things for him but see, that's what you need to be thinking about man and women, all of you who are listening right there. This is what you need to be thinking about you need to be thinking about what type of legacy are you leaving your children and the ones with whom you're coming in contact with. You see, because because how are you going to be remembered when you when you first leave here you are.

I look back at a lot of the, the fathers of of theology and history will be go back and we still talking about somebody's guys today.

You know we we we still talking about them and so when I when I think about the life that they live, the things that they did in the fact that we still talk about still quoting things that they quoted to the congregation. I'm saying that is a legacy because what what what it does is even though you are no longer in this body. The gospel message is still being preached and I'm still listening. The man who on the radio who have passed away 2025 years ago still on TV still on the radio and their legacy is still going, so don't tell me that you can't do anything for God. The legacy of which you leave will determine what your room really is. Once you get to heaven because what you do down here will determine what you get up there.

I'm excited now. I'm sorry that we got to go right now I'm so excited.

We want to thank you pastor Leroy for joining us here know Sydney" for Roy who was out. We want to thank God and so we wanted to say Lord in Jesus name we just thank you for this opportunity that you've given us.
