This is Truth Network welcome to man talk to you by TA W. CM is talking and walking Christian men's ministry were there devoted to breaking down the walls of combination challenging them to take their God assigned as our host will Hardy and Roy Jones Junior a black eye and a white mess you up with on the blog of the old Margaret is a white guy and so we really were despicable before the students were doing what you and I will Hardy the black guy and Roy. You know we were talking earlier that people are you know stuck at home. They have cabin fever there isolated, you know, from everybody from people in nursing homes, hospitals and things like that. So we have a topic today that all of you who are listening today need to hear. Yeah, it's about isolation. What we were and that we were never meant to be alone in the we got the pastor can climb from Greensboro no strong progress with some chores and grades were his joints before his big part of talk ministry board with us and loves men in the bucket and then off the sidelines, which is that what our omissions about so welcome against good. Have you with us. So again you're off in the country like like me at the yellow Woodland stretch out so you know it's not like you were totally gone bonkers but for me, and though we were working the 730 to 585 30 every day at the Donald antiwar home office. Whatever it is so little bit close to getting the cabin fever but the thank you so much. Joints can I know you just recently did a Bible study devotional in this a while to just open up a little bit and nine. Give us a little bit of a recap of what you covered with your team and will lessen questions along the way in offer some commentary if that's okay yeah yeah a lot of copy via the name of the game right now I've been meeting with prayer. If the Turks have been meeting with several leadership team different associations with hacker group and one of our topic is what we need to do. How do we connect to those around them are not really about connecting and background leading a big gathering gathering and a lot of work on technology that my mom or my trying to figure how you Facebook live for something that they do things like that but the thing that keeps coming back and has been coming back. We need to we need to communicate even by phone on a regular basis. So with my staff and Dr. our goal is to contact at least five people by their with her by phone, and then at least another five or six random search family members by panic and what's driving that you, especially with the number of senior that we have in the current. It's easy to start filling after a week or two.

It's not bad. After six or seven week beginning feel isolated right and that can be a offer. Some people have a depression this evening value.

You don't something that can be varied. And so will really make an effort try to have multiple call the week. So in addition to our daily e-news probably a lot of people don't do Facebook. A lot of our seniors that John Martin, the little Facebook very mixed by Kirk on this. Knowing what's going on thought had to make an effort literally to do the daily go update on what's going on prayer. You know what's going on with the world. Here within our church family are usually given devotion and later I get a picture of the day, thought of the day if this build, things are kind of make them feel less isolated.

I think that's the sort of crime right right you know can I when you're talking there I'm reminded in Ephesians chapter 4, I was reading this about a week ago I Ephesians 4123. I therefore prisoner of the Lord beseech you to walk worthy of the calling were which you will call with all loneliness, gentleness, long-suffering, there's there's the word long-suffering, bearing one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit and the bond of peace and see what you just talked about is Internet connectivity. That's keeping that unity of the Spirit together even though we are not face-to-face we still have to utilize the Ways and Means in which the Lord have blessed us through through this virtual world that we're living in now and I dare to say Roy and Ann can that I don't think that this world of virtuality is going to go away anytime soon. You know I think you're right.

Will it it's based on this transition plan that we hear more about free to the states and even here within our state, North Carolina.

It's been backed up another week before the shelter in place a directive is can have some relaxation to an ethics. Mike May 8 Nelson was the 30th of the month, so it's not going to go away and even even when we get back to some level normalcy. It's going to be different because people of these hyper cautious this by nature what was going through. Airlines will be different in the People stacked on top of the children will have done in the past, which means as part of have to be some infrastructure changes to jets, supermarkets can be different. Your interaction with your folks at church is going to be different the next time you get ready to shake somebody's hand, you think twice about regular some I hug you going think twice about who and it said it is going be quite different, quite different, so in what we were talking about the loneliness. The past can what what's was some of the other elements of loneliness that you know you want to bring out today in my e-news work today getting all "where either my mind. I do still work up at the church pretty much by myself, but people do stop by to grapple project whatever right, I'm starting to hear some of the complaining and the grumbling. I'm tired of the non-is ridiculous.

This governor need to do something.

Presently we are get back.

And what was kind of flattered, but the reality when we talk about isolation. The number of people. All I thought of the day in the Bible literally can thousand of people that are in isolation unit hospitals that don't have any family little zero can then use the nursing home care, senior care you're talking millions of people in our country who are allowed the family. Anderson third likely factor.

And so it is quite depressing.

What I was trying to do for Almighty to get the focus of your gambit at your favorite restaurant while taking our creative bit down and pray for the millions of people are feeling very isolated if it breaks my heart talk about the people that die. Nobody daily side and an isolation room with no family there. What that must be like oh yeah oh I love the Scripture that they came out well you're my Scripture guard, you can probably put a burst of psychic what one brand can easily be broken and into a stronger book 3 can be broken and also there is a great benefit and then we talk about is iron fire carpenter iron man help build each other up each of the results we care, we were just we were created to be that way. We literally were knitted together by father God would need to be in fellowship in relationship with other people, there's no is no argument against people that are quite.

There gotta be something wrong there created to be with one another and I even got goal that an animal working in the garden and he said he needs the only helper and going to a team that is not good for man to be alone. He created a companion to walk with him and work with and your life. And that still exist very evident me to be an interactional with one another. Yeah, you know, asking that that's that's wonderful in is beautiful because you know what we should be concentrating on. I think as we are in this time of isolation is to think about not not what is happening around us, but after we come through this.

What will we do as a body to advance the gospel and promote the name of Jesus Christ because we got time in God's God has given us time.

There is no more excuses. I got to go play golf on Sunday or I got to take the kids to soccer practice.

God you know we talked about this on some shows prior that he shut all that down so you sold.

Now that we are without excuse. You know we we now have this time to say we are a body that is, you know, strengthened as a result of this talk about that brief full-court is not easily broken and and it's not when you are knitted and woven together you know God is just like in chemistry. We talk about the double bond and the triple bond and and and being major in chemistry when you have that triple bond. It's difficult to break it.

I mean it chemically. So when we when we take that analogy and we look at it as the church of Jesus Christ and we say through this last being knitted together. Even the more so even though we are not face-to-face physically right that we are using these Ways and Means that God has for his glory to bring about change. Let's talk about when we come out of this. What are we going to do, how we going to bring the gospel for how we going to push this thing for there was little different than yesterday exactly I can think of would come back up to break in his second set top box about what Jim is talking about nursing homes, nursing units, hospitals, and so forth. So we arrived back to Baltimore thank you for joining us on mental 10 year CM and would love to have you join their community of men for breakfast every first and third Friday of every month and Bible discussions in fellowship after the best breakfast in town meeting location is in their voracious poster First Christian Church in Kernersville, 1130 N. Main St. encouraged him a hard start at 7 o'clock on a hard stop at 8 o'clock. First time visitors eat for free. Join your hose will party Roy Jones Junior, a black guy in a white guy affordable chiropractic in High Point.

As you might tell from their name, affordable chiropractic, even for the cash. Remember, affordable chiropractic on the W. Lexington Ave. in High Point Hall 33688519875 commands operating boardrooms and I will party again.

We were but before break point about the loneliness and broken heart and many people's hearts when they see the loved one's friends and even unknowns that are dying without family or friends around them. But as you are saying that about nursing homes God's poem hard to raise this for us as a team and those are listening out there if if you go back before this all happened will say now post covered 19 what's it going to look like like her talk about right before the break is you know the nursing homes is probably the probably has the most residents that have published amount of visitors across any scope of institution. We know and you know it's really sad and my wife her mother died last year and but as result of that she got a chance to interact with ladies and in this home where her mother was stage retirement center but that she would see the ladies with nobody ever come to Salem and the folks. These are people that always do not have children.

These are often times people have children who don't take the time out of your schedule to go visit their aging parents.

So when Ken was sharing that this came on the heart. We need to say challenge our listeners and ourselves to say we need to start building and the other people when this is over.

We do need to be building those in God's put us on pause to start looking inside like we talked about with Dr. Kunkel the other day to be reflecting looking inside.

What can we do differently what should we be doing different with an aqueous or more importance at the time of revival so that his the non-followers will get back in line and start following Christ. Those that have been on the fence or got lukewarm will get back into full relationship with Christ and you know we had a true worship committee to church.

Roy we have a ministry on the fourth Sunday at 3 o'clock we go to a nursing home and it's it's basically when you walk in the door.

It simply breaks your heart to see residents of this home is sitting in the hallway unattended and some of them might be calling out for something, some can't speak very well and but they motion with their hands and and how some of the orderlies were the people who supposed be taking care of them simply just walk on by what he's simply say you don't need anything right now and I'll be releasing things like this and brought it to the administrators attention, but then next month when we come back to center the same picture so so and I was wonder, can you go hit you go home prior to all this happening but we could rewind the clock maybe 3 miles, we had no discussion about something and actually was leaving early, you anything of the now social bit the big thing we all understand what me and talk about talk about talk about but what's interesting to me. The church is been practicing social bit management dear Eric Yeah we are guilty. All of this thinking, I felt people there like a lot of time, we like to claim all of our cool truth is a lot of been focused what we gotta do to perform better, look better, be cooler in all things in the windows in your forgot, of racial racial differences within the church and which social bit personal of other denominations. Social bit of the other developmental denomination different color.

And I know I'm pretty rare of the be fortunate because of your past Mulberry Are also multicultural multiplexing of denomination mulch generational multi vendor and the I feel blessed that America actually think something that's pretty rare nowadays night. What I'm hoping is that we come out and work out the workup may be part of it may be part of the problem you want this to be aware of what causes I'm hearing that I heard on the radio the other girls in the testimony. I think it was on the one mistake and she said things I realize are taken for granted. It's gotten easy to not go without Endo and BF think that I realize how much I need those people and she should be isolationist, won't be up to.

I have a body part of our need to get closer to an average American male only leap year every Christian American pendulum Garth. I hope part of it will be part of the body will be part of that body develop that body by people and embraced right so you know when you look at when you look at that when you talk about it reminded me of just our human body are human body. You know we we are made and created to be social creatures, you know, to interact and wait.

When you look at our body, we have hands joints and we have ball and socket joints and so these these joints in the human body are made from ocean Army when you walk your arms automatically's swing so it these things are are tantamount if you will to the human body so as the church. When this is over. If we have been sitting down. We need to say.

Now let's get out and let the Holy Spirit working in and through us to do something that is meaningful and beneficial and I'm not talking about the Rob Rossi's mobile because a lot of what we seemed like on the TV commercials every TV commercial out watch now is talking about thinking nurses and thank you doctors in this is good I'm I'm not, you know, talking down to this because these workers work hard, but my concern is it's when the Rob Rossi's mobile is over. What will you be doing and where will you be standing well, that's a great question will not we go back. Not too many years ago to 9/11 the 19 years I guess her 20 years now.

I guess going close to 2001. 911 2001 and when it happened.

Everybody was on board with being patriotic about turning to God and churches. The people ran to the churches for weeks after this. But then into your we talked about this before.

Two years later in a horsey American flight three years later tends to drop the church. Here we are. 19 years later and look at what the church attendance, looks like today and cannot have this conversation over recent months.

You know what is the typical churchgoing look like in the next 10 years and can I don't know what your heart says now but after what were going through now. I'm hopeful that there's going to be a total revival and what the church looks like the love and obedience. People sit in the home and small groups and that needs to be the support mechanism of larger church larger body where your thoughts can yeah I agree it. I don't want to.

I don't want to church and I've been real bold, clear about that. I hope it's never what it was before all the act 240 247 talk about the early church thousand thousands upon thousands let it come to believe in Christ and what spirit they continue to devote themselves to the same met daily together, and the temple, but many of your home breaking of bread fellowship all pending cognitive learning from each other, growing from a talk in those early days of the people were without me absolutely amazes me because because of true love each other.

They were making sure that you need to be a man and a picture of the early per we've gotten really far off from your liqueur seven a home Bible study group cool but I really hope it goes way beyond that, the people actually start inviting people into their home again could eat with them bread with their community would hang out with them in the earliest first where that got her millennial group, but a lot of them hide behind the screen so easy to communicate. I've got younger people in my church to do great encouraging behind the screen but they are sure and I'm hoping that we we can kind of break I'm all about the wonderful but we gotta get back embraced one another and you agree that's that's also must write at least maybe it's our kids. It falls on but it says it falls on us when this is developed because we talked was for the men didn't lead having been leading properly over the last X number of years 40 or 50 years. Whatever it is, compared to when our father's father's word working hard and doing things differently.

You know, in the game started. I can early as the 50s you look at the pictures of families that show the wife reading the Bible to the children instead of the husband sitting there reading the Bible to the family and leaving the family. So I think we've got it. We got a start coaching channel. Gotta now the time because people's hearts are going to be much more open to change than they ever have been in our lifetime. If you think about if you think about this you know when you talk about the millennial's and then all of a sudden this just popped in my head. Can you see a millennial going out shopping would for fireplace.

Can you see a millennial drawing water from a whale hunting.

This is what this is what has to be done back then so you know that if I have my head nod his head go here to get a list cantilevered to close out her last 30 seconds what to get off so people helpful get on their love her people borrowing your very brave a man can. Thank you so much and it's always good to have you on this was back center folks again don't be myself, and when this breaks loose the intensity down to the body fellowship do things differently will be the same person coming out of this that were going to. That's right training and change change change.

It is a necessity. So be there for your wife and your children. God bless you as we wrap up today show.
