This is good Truth Network welcome to mannitol and brought you by TA W. CM is talking and walking Christian men's ministry where they are devoted to breaking down the walls of race, challenging them to take their God assigned as our host will Hardy and Roy Jones Junior, a black guy. I went on video call our listeners and you know we ended last week show we still have Lieut. Gen. Jerry Boykin with us and Nikita Karloff, the Russian nightmare. So we ended last week's so Roy, we were talking about how pornography has affected our society so and we were talking off the air and generally brought up some comments in reference to a book you have read, so if you want to pick that back up and in reference to that discussion in the name of the book and and what that book basically entails and what were dealing with today like 81 years ago, the US wrote a book called naked, they were telling us exactly what they were going to take over America like a Marxist government of one of the said they were going to do about pornography. The member light and the idea behind it was to get the most important structure in the American family back family and about all. For example, same-sex marriage, and I will also easy divorce that would help for the family so there will going the family for the fabric of America all.

And when you look at what you want year I wrote that book they could come. It is starting. I would say almost sounds like a playbook for some of our Congress sums the past and loud happening in the state's sake of free speech.

No controls on the material is absolutely ridiculous while also so amazing. Jerry program. According to the document dollars of the average boy is a blogger.

Nine years old, but you'll never have left Christ comes into his life and heal the wound by the L of the Lord will just to check liquid good just to solidify those points, you know, when you got €1.02 030 plan iPads and in 5 to 6-year-olds playing on cell phones and an inmate playing games or what, but they're smart enough I've learned with with seven Internet grandchild on the way smart enough to know even even watch one grandson, and that when he was your half-full navigating the self knowing what buttons to push and pop and things pop up right so another strategy right taking keywords that kids dial-in on and attaching pornography to your point on everybody's point and exposing them as is Gen. Borges at at the fingertips like today's world and its top stuff in the sense of monitoring that because there are many times pop-ups right. So anyway yeah it's it's we just need to we borrow we need to pray the prayer list and you need to be look at your kids phones and putting the software on the computers you know there's triple X nothing first covenant eyes and numerous things out there with it may not be 100%, but they will or will catch quite a few of the opportunities that these young men and young women trying to get up to the absolute.

And also send reports.

Don't be afraid to grab the kids phones or computers load the stuff up future. Their future generations ahead of them are Going to be a responsible man take a stand do something about.

And so we want to move right now Roy into the yes yes still working on side of the book coming out this morning and would you share a little bit about that with us and then nothing nuclear to start the work on the new one next year as well. So what about that perfect timing and I think you think it might actually be about men.

If I remember correctly, the title of the book is called man subtitle is read covering 11 world called me after he had read the manuscript you're going get your butt over the countercultural right world exactly what lowlight of the work order, right at man. All Scripture is book called five things in their community the church their work, their family will be five things member a provider a chaplain, a server which means that they've got to know the Bible. I got up, etc. in their battle buddy.

Every man needs of bottle you need somebody in here is why we can talk about the most here have problems, you know that my bottle buddy. Whoever I can do whatever it man ever written, tender warrior, but I can tell him anything and he will tell me a thing and we play for each other what I've got a really what I call and we level off weekend together, but I just got all with two hours ago. You know we we we strengthen each other so a man needs to be a battle buddy some of the got need that guy. Like most relationships are not developed overnight relationships are developed over time and the fact that most men don't have a battle buddy got a relationship that goes by Glover talk right general is the loneliness factor in afraid to say I need somebody to come alongside of me and takes back to the coach point you have the courage to say I can't do it alone and to the point of talking last week about loneliness and and encourage you know what's a plan of there is an ultimate enemy out there comes kill and destroy. History of the family destroy the individual and one of his tactics that I have found is is the loneliness it if I can I buy can get the man isolated.

I get that person isolated and making him feel alone may not even be alone soon as we hear people in a crowded room and yet feel all alone crowded room to just a tactic of the enemy of of isolating people by isolating them, and then instilling that loneliness feeling in them sound like the general's book is is perfect. Perfect timing for what we need it in this attack on masculinity. Perfect timing is great, especially given what would succeed in the marketplace will talk about this same changes in the will loud you look like you inside and took the change with the Hallmark Channel with resolve and go one direction back to the other direction.

We saw Troy move, change position relating to stay in the biblical standards rightly and I think is because of the public pressure that everything's going on. I think what we need to talk about too long. As long as minutes okay standing standards. It's okay to share your faith and life in general. So the producer got to be in the face about it, but it's okay to share your faith and live it out.

So men will see the difference in your life so that the what part of what you've got no different than the world been there is no need for them to even ask right so because it was seen that. I think when it comes to Mantoux. It's always that trust factor, you know, man, man, opening up and saying if I open up to this man. Can I really trust him with the information that I am praying to him because or else always he's going to spread my business all over the place is just is just that man factor. You know, if you will will will you not been through enough movies together. You heard me talk about. I know you talked about should generally done the same Dick weekend we conferences confidentiality is vital. It's a critical element of that that battle buddy is the general was talking about.

If I can't can't trust you to keep confidential, and then there's a problem and if it's gets out, we could lose that person for lifetime well. Transparency right vulnerability in unfortunately in some cases, you know, Dave. Dave opened up but then been the key word is resident in me is the word betrayal is simply trade that shuts them down and go I okay I never knew that I got no other battle buddy ever again. Social media has those of you know me well. I thought about social media and this is one of Satan's greatest tools could be one of God's greatest opportunities but it's one of Satan's greatest tools because of my focus on the negative and that's where the stuff gets crazy, people forget about the dispersed whole things to the best supposed to be a man of your word because it's okay all day long and they get distracted me.

Maybe a slipup or whatever and also he revealed something should never reveal the command spirit. Well, you know the Bible and what standard for this kind of battle buddy relationship. Well about David about about Joshua and Caleb coming here to all bottle buddy. They were the only 212 people that want to find out they will come back without the concept exactly if you will have about let's start from CMM love to have you join their community of men for breakfast every first and third Friday of every month, Bible discussions and fellowship. Breakfast in town meeting location is in every system posterior First Christian Church in 1130 N. Main St. have a hard start at seven a clock on a hard stop. First time visitors eat for free. Join your party. Roy Jones Junior, a black guy, white, affordable chiropractic and High Point name of even for the cash.

Patient Dr. Jeff Ricky has been caring for patients in High Point for 34 years, physical therapy, such as altar sound and spinal decompression for this condition, such as herniation conference of care for auto accident injury patients with no out-of-pocket expense number affordable chiropractic West Lexington High Point Hall 336-885-1987 talk radio and we are here with and have general Jerry walking on the phone and you know for this last subsegment.

Roy want to talk about talking walking Christian men's ministry is all about breaking down the walls of race and denomination because these are things that we have seen, and you know our years of ministry that has affected the church affect the mind of man has been stumbling blocks for man and hurdles for them to to get over, so I would like to to ask Gen. Boykin in your history in the military have you seen racial bias, and how did you deal with some of those issues that you sing. You know that there is no military and the best thing that you can do as a commander military trained them part where they are so depend on each other that they don't even see in the race. I came in the Volterra right after. Just as America was coming out of the right you would like. You just there will when there are lots of things going all that could be tied back there.

I grew up in New Bern, North Carolina love that there was a racist environment.

It was, you know, the Jim Crow laws were taken very seriously and I they ran to the boat. That is something that I had to overcome myself because I was going be part of this. I had to overcome you go through that overnight you. You have to work at. You have to be objective and you have to put your your effort in what they all wore the white black beret, you've got to put yourself in relation to where you just ask them what they are and you know anybody that says that we don't have a right I think that Barry and her family do have a what it was when I was growing up is not what it was.

Watch I watch civil rights movement, and I will write about what I said all their byway after I left home my dad about the black helpmate to overcome quickly any right had the military.

The way you do things we talked about this part of this is that start the conversation and thank you so much for sure and make a good point. You don't overcome it overnight. You don't break learned behaviors or tall behaviors overnight to pursue. You got to pursue that forgiveness and pursue that overcoming A sabbatical sodomizing conflict. Think about well I wish it wasn't the way this without being a person of action and I think one of the things we was meant to do back to standing on the sidelines like a lot of good part about it. Want to do something different with the not the not stepping out and we talked about this. Will you and I many times if we just take the first step in the natural, then God can do amazing things in the supernatural alongside of us and behind us and through us. But if we never take those steps were not willing to take head-on and is never going to get correct. Well you now I want to switch in and asked Nikita in Yuma during your time as wrestling, you know during those early years did you encounter no racial bias I think is prevalent everywhere affected to the point, I think we all are aware still to this day the most segregated hour in America is 11 o'clock on Sunday mornings exactly unaware of that still exist today for a variety of reasons. They guys but that said, I mean it's it's everywhere in wrestling like if you watch professional wrestling like it was my error on the 80s and early 90s and I know even prior to that there was there was some some successful black professional wrestlers, but they were kind of far between and and it was interesting as I observed it's the if someone got what we called a push you like it if they said it would take to push a Ron Simmons, for example, the interesting dynamic was in. This is true on both sides of the fence guys can get a chip on the shoulder.

For whatever reason, right field have to prove themselves and and it seemed like the black athlete that excelled in professional wrestling was the one who didn't have a chip on his shoulder like you something to prove but you just embrace the opportunity and therefore became a world champion like a Ron Simmons who thinks art altar are familiar with him excelled. The diversity excelled at the professional level in football and in professional wrestling was there and it was there it was. It was known just just what well I guess and I was a young person when the desegregation started as it ended up I was my home. My housing that was my parents home that they had bought in the been very close to the government subsidized housing. So which is predominately black time. So basically that we as a pocket got moved up to a county school district because are trying to balance the racial populations of the schools. So for me that John school bus form and everything.

Impressive play football.

Not a lot different than military on the side of each other every day running together all those things you become one. So you not brother. That's the way you look at it but it was a different with the house much like what was talked about earlier and not but here are some stories and some of the men of color shared even today, as we talked about shows in general will have to share that with you sooner but some stories have been heart-wrenching grown men are experiencing stuff today even just stoplights people walking down the street. Those sorts of things. Things that you thought worth 40 years ago still going on it's it's still is to publish it. What would you call government government would you because I was about thousand that where I grew up with the project predominately black government serves as the second is my favorite music is no telling all those movies I don't have out there summarized by saying this on my Jesus comes back to the solution to all of this until Jesus comes. That's right, that's right, but the one place in the house and on top of that general rule. Doing this we can make a difference. Sure, the church and start taking these things seriously get outside the walls all love to go to churches that have a interracial enter on your way you'll audience because it be that the people there got you all and now I think that the church delete mother would never walk probably about church. The church came out in the second great awakening began to boldly get an byway for those who don't know there were actually churches that were passed by black pastors of the Northeast and that. And it was the church about the church that can bring about this reconciliation reconciliation is not like I remember you know what made whelming brothers come down here to the altar.

Okay, that is not going to achieve great racial reconciliation. One, I can go wash your feet will all of my bed all by my previous right about not going to achieve racial affiliation, exactly, is got busy developing a relationship with you and making that relationship real in sum, whiteware.

I understand you are you are going to collect great broccoli. I listen to rap music Jimmy Boykins just can't take on the quick interesting dynamic of a tale of two churches to go to New York works.com you read a phenomenal story by Jewish lady racial reconciliation between my home church, the refuge in the church in Greensboro while churches will be released again man-to-man man you would now like to be on 14 April okay Amazon already have Christmas 2000 today show that DAW CMM talking walking Christian men's ministry is a community of men Christ followers with a desire to be servant leaders in their homes, communities, churches, and work environment.
