Enjoy it and please share around all your friends. Thanks for listening and thanks for choosing the truth podcast network. This is the Truth Network professional wrestling, and Canada. What do they have in common state to to find out the man up man this is that this is an extra special guest I have on the show with me today coming all the way from from our friends up north north of the border all the way from Canada. Danny warned Danny. Welcome to the manage show. Thank you very much rapidly under well. It's great to have you on the show today and in for a variety of reasons, all which I I think our listeners will will really enjoy and so Europe and Canada. Let let's give our listeners good just got a quick backdrop on on Danny Warren where I where are you in Canada and they were gonna really kinda jump into how you and I met, but versatile talk about your family and in and in.

Danny warned Danny Warren. I might live up here and take Manitoba, Canada.

Not familiar with the geography of our country. Pretty much smack dab in the middle of the country we live in a city that has the reputation of having some of the coldest winters on the planet are so well-equipped to handle the cold appear ever quite used with no matter how many heaters you look like I married, I have a beautiful daughters about the term or in January and I have been a professional rest 20 years now and were both also celebrate our 14th anniversary as the Wesley company here when I might promoting water and develop recording organization echoes across Canada correctly wants just switches which is how you you and I met you are on the promoting end of of of the wrestling world and that gave me the after really you gave me the opportunity to tease see some parts of Canada not let let me just back up here for moment you see here in Winnipeg and I actually in my childhood made a couple trips to Winnipeg with my grandma and my uncle view of the Greyhound boss bad. It week I read the real like like like my first trip ever did to Canada was to Winnipeg. We went by my uncle love to vacation in Duluth Minnesota and and so he and I am my grandma would take a Greyhound bus to Duluth and we spent like it like five, six days a Duluth and then on up to Winnipeg for couple three days or so and that all the way back to Minneapolis and so that was my first introduction to Canada was actually Winnipeg and then courtside wrestled in all really only a couple cities in Canada. Not as much as some of my my wrestling peers but you gave me the opportunity to see 21 cities in 21 days in four different provinces and were kind enough to do it in the spring and summer months. He didn't have to endure that Orval Hunter is talked about. Yes, it is an ad that was really kinda strategic on my part as well.

Daddy just so you know because I was familiar with the frigid winters of of of Canada because I was helping you said you talked about geography if I'm not mistaken.

Winnipeg's supplements is essentially just north of Minnesota. All right, yet we reported that our great God, nor the Apple yeah so so your your your right right above so I knew I knew about cold and and in snow as well, but not quite as intense as as though Winnipeg so they go but but so let let's let's talk about that though this talk about the moment my tour because if I'm not mistaken I think it was 20 you may know better 2017 I think is when you brought me up to all Canada rights. Yes sir, I believe it was the spring of 2000 and and what what comes to me in it when I see him forever grateful. I really am just for couple reasons one I love to travel and in just see the world and so for anyone listening out there if if you don't do that. Can I encourage you to pick this incident amazing world we live in. It went when you go and see other parts of it outside of just a documentary or television show. You know it's different when you see it for real. And so, so many amazing memories I have from from that that trip Danny and Ed 21 days 21 cities by the way, all all over the road like so no no flying involved because I remember this part as well, and I'd I don't think I ever asked you but 5500 miles, knots the kilometers it clicks off a little different right for the kilometers butted in the I believe it 1.8 km per mile. Yeah so so 5500 miles is what's logged in my brain and I couldn't figure out why you saved the longest trips for the last couple three days when we were the most tired.

Danny held that were part of everything but out of the airport.

You could probably travel down. Cargo on a couple hours all video millions of people don't have that you subscribe you well know that everything really good about: what Canada get all the smoke out get an apartment cover, ground going out when back around and go find out what was going carry out an entire paragraph 100 covered in water. Driving around me openly on everything really, but I don't have that much of having the mall found out) are all really far away one port currently part of the country doing the long haul much right now like like oh my gosh, you look like you guys.

I know you happy 21 days racing like the guys like the last day 1819 20 guys he owes Dragon at that point but but nevertheless still incredible memories and in and in fact 111 of my favorite memories is is one went out lasted two and I've never been to. It was called Banff right BI think BA and it was like a lake in and it and I had some of the younger guys with me and in the wheat.

We toured upper wheat we got we were one up early so we could go to the town of Banff and then I want to treat the guys to some lunch that a hot Springs up there and a quick funny story on that and I guess you heard the story, maybe you didn't but they all the guys want to go to the hot Springs right on.

Like all that's cool so we get up there they go, let's go jump in the hot Springs. I'm thinking of my mind. You know hot natural hot springs it out so I could adjust an open pool kind of thing right well know it was and it will be got there you that you had to rent these bathing suits and end up like guys, I am not doing that, and the like all come on you gotta do it. So we did and that it was like a 1920s style bathing suit like with the shoulder. It was almost like my wrestling singlet right in the head with a little skirt on it. I'm not you think you can't make this stuff up like was for real.)

We'll never know her photo. I wouldn't allow. I may have some form of documentary I may have been silly document. I didn't know you never the subject is also skin it's so funny, so 33. I think three of us three or four of us rented right right of the baby suits one of the guys like payout is promising where my underwear Amanda looks like a bathing suit anyway like I so so we walked on this hallway. Danny and we walked out and it's not a hot Springs like like you just jumping like this natural pool is like an actual pool like you see at a Marriott or something right and when we walked out every head turned it was slammed full with parents and their children, and then for these young wrestlers all tattooed.

And this bald guy with the Tarzan's Suda and every head turns and looks at the five of Austin and a leg was good a word, we froze right like okay this is not what we expected a headset and it was in our committed rights and I would at least get it in. The guys are wanted in the lifeguards and they want to sue Plex each other and the lifeguard got wind of that is like guys please. It's a family oriented Hotspur so anyways so but and that we had it. We did have some photos together.

I have to make sure you see one or two of those plucked up. What incredible memory that we had a really need to really meet lunch on on this rooftop and you know that was Kenny in between in between shows. But that was what that was one of my favorite memories. One of the real quack is is one of them. You may not try to remember the town right now but we did a underground tour of of the back in the days of of wind. When alcohol was outlawed in America on one of the one of the famous guys who had had a place up there stated a hotel up there and in and in Canada and had an underground brewer rerunning there that worry's where he sold liquor and we got an underground tour of that as well and so anyway just some incredible identity was already at work where I know it was not. It was completely in a different part of the part what one of the other provinces. All of all, I'll get that information because that was amazing to me. That now.

The name still be my my, but a very famous me was several of famous racketeer from from America had this little hotel hideaway there and in we literally we literally one in on one side of the street and they take you down below. You have to go through all these checkpoints and these doors and slide open the little window and they still have the machine old machine guns down there and yet have the password in order to buy the liquor then you come up literally on the other side of the street through different building as it was.

It was amazing, but for real, but sounds amazing. I've never felt that out. I'll find out so well as a let's do this. So let's talk a little bit see so 20 your wrestling career. Give our listeners a little insight in India wrestling career. Maybe some of the guys your able to get in the ring with talk talk for a couple minutes about some of that listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com. If you would like to support Cola for Christ ministries. For a gift of $25. The keel was seen the CDs adoration and declaration for a gift of $50. The cuboid is wrestling with success for a gift of $100 more, you will include a signed copy of his newly updated tail of the ring WW W.Holland.donate today to call. I am excited to hear you to know the big announcement. Well, maybe.

Anyway Facebook all my new fan page for fans and the like, and follow your listening to the Truth Network and TruthNetwork.com started wrestling at the age of 15 years old so I was very lucky or accursed, but I know you want to look at it very quickly.

Orthopedic open adult world, which was what Gary got up early in my life, my body would probably be to start getting a quote on your part to feel the bumps grammatical, but I very like I got involved with the local rep monopoly. Winnipeg young teenager and out little bit older I start great so I lie got involved in my first answer was pretty much after the great dramatic very blessed yet firm called Göttingen correct back in the territory. Dave and I I kind of but not alive. This modern age, someone never had a national contract but have been able to maintain a full-time career and living like that bike by traveling the road traveling I was down the count Canada date, have been very lucky to have opportunity to work with you over the years of honor and so I love you are in need or per se a professional everything I wanted with my life and that is what I know, kinda make my purpose in all these years later, not quite big and getting on the road and down so that that bit about me Internet I kind of that kind of fire. The promoting end of the replicant where John was traveling W differently. He got were quite being done back home as well as shift the stock and always park if that weren't being cut show on way to make a market with big brother people so if I told him to those waters as well. Want Nordic media replica like today, which is hosted guys like yourself that my organization and buckwheat notice years of being on the road. I've been very blessed to share the ring with with with countless legends of the sport which you know ultimately you know the child in the gift. I went down, you know, watching guys like yourself then and then another light like that inspired get involved in the world of professional wrestling. One big boat in the lock that ultimately could effectively not very blessed countless times over.

Over the years.

That's pretty amazing since some of the names said that you you over the summary record so that the listeners may recognize that that you execute got in the ring with some of the guys in the ring with you.

Talk guys from your air. I've been on the audit on the receiving end multiple times Jake, Robert, EDT years and on the current data that betting that Robert hacksaw Jim Duggan guys from that era.

I've been very lucky that for sure the ring multiple times at megastars of today's world wrestling guy yelled. I got and I start like that that's that's amazing.

And in so you have had a AC story career and in certainly.

Bye-bye every account and if so, let let me ask you question on you mention territories and of course not very familiar with with the territories. You know, back in the day in America you from from Donnellan's up in the Pacific Northwest to WW WF you know Vince McMahon Senior up in the Northeast 22 Midatlantic where where I will cut my teeth and got my break to know Texas with the Bonaire Excel across Canada. For those who are listeners who may not know Danny was it similar that the course of their so there's one name that pops up, called.

I think heart or something like that that you probably have heard of them.

I actually got to go by that that the infamous dungeon, the heart dungeon. I didn't get to go winter but I we did a drive-by. But I was like a kid with her so terrible and so will you wither a number of different territories or how to work in Canada back in the day will deftly what your take out he had a territory you're probably very good with that one had met with the AWA Gagne Berg Gagne yeah the AWA was a stronghold here in Manitoba talk about from the people of that era date if I'm out holding caulking the business of putting up posters by if I run into anybody that is still still actively going watching wrestling in that era. Date.fond memories of PWA in the middle of closely importantly for me. I was going to 1987, so I beat hysteria of the AWA and was just kind of put my first work together as the company went out of business by quickly for me. I got that all after-the-fact over many many hours of my career, but it still has a very very strong technical Canada was better all your Manitoba and of course you have your heart, family, and can't wrestling out in Alberta which is infamous around the world and sometimes people computed kind of be the dominant or it only provokes roughly about five because art did have such a great life but the great what a great that I not only with the organization. But of course I know Linda gave glory, and all those guys going on to the excess of the world wrestling Federation, but realistically they were mostly based in Alberta, the ultimate event got anything. Manitoba became a timer to but ultimately Alberta was their home territory manager went out to Vancouver in the West code at the cockles going all start out that way. And then it start going out East depending on the error had note that Jack Hardy immediately wrestling out in the Toronto area, you know, you had to Joe's Delta in Québec and glad you're on the open creek running the Maritimes and so there is very much active cluster your Canada as well.

A lot of churches and I remember when you mix two times a wrestling Canada Angelo Mosca Angelo Mosca always was kinda cold promoting with with Jim Crockett promotions for some of our Canadian shows as well. You tell the story before he came on air. I had the Travis Orndorff is been interviewed on the man up show in for those who might recognize the last name. Yes, he is the son of the infamous Mr. wonderful Paul Orndorff and I can you take a minute here. Danny is sure that when Paul toured with you how I guess you you lot. He had his final, and last match with you on your tour yeah remote good deal called another legend I got to share the ring with that as a result of that which was an incredible time. I believe Paul might've been here for you I think.

January 2000 and use them when I thought it would very quickly and so I consider that a good friend equally well after Gordon. I try to stay in touch with which gonna question myself and many members of the crew of those not familiar with Paul and some of his health battles over lifetime came up about the buyer early on dementia that might've been kicking in all numbers but he typically having some trouble that was growing very frustrating for him by the day and and very hard to see enclosed I'm over that time on the road, so we did our very best equipment for your contracting down very quickly brought up certain stories in certain memories or get them right back to where need. And being Mr. wonderful. But he took to arcs were very, very nicely. You know some guys will come in the collector money and local home income try to be a part of the crew and hopefully why we bring them up.

Try to assist are not only utopian attraction gloss band but ultimately the ark because so many guys without Claude Orndorff and Jake Roberts and many many start from Eric a lot of money and time so alternately to hold out like soft, pure, leaving business, but a boost for the education of our crew and hopefully the trade is no longer bright and and without wood without even asking. Paul took great to that that that makes sense yes crank out years later night what it was great, but barely even knowing anybody got up, so if that locker room and you let everybody have it for better or for worse, even feedback on Michelle and energy that it would yeah I got your data just like giving my money so he got in the ring with these yeah so we built this relationship up with Paul, get up there so you would give his very hands on the night would come into the back and giving you back to the guys that really merge the culture of doing up here and we're nearing the end of the tour background get the loop out last ever come back to Matilda and just click on it working in my corner Dimmick was kind of like my mentor using my corner of my quarter man trying to get me that increased to get back on track and working back on top with the copula for the title and every night after that point, you know, the fat guy with the kind of man against them, prevent them from doing it and if they were still enough to live off the call to get the right hand by the end of the night and this is kind of culminating over the tour and yet it we had a eyepatch that often one of the town called my corner now with such 1/4. I had against Glover and their manager and you'll Paul been with us for almost 21 days of that when I think talk about the business of the night you would generally only schedule our corner of the manager that he and I sat down with them and what are we doing tonight. I will call realistically, but without lined up your be great if we could turn this into a stick man tag and we can call the manager an open bar and without hesitation he looked me straight in the eye that while using my 2017 Paul is in his 50s and is not ruffled a match and I think night for 20 years, Betty Matt been around and no I'm not. By that apathy ribbing, but you get here is that I fall we will make have bad."

I went off to find the forum I got me to just one thing, don't tell my wife for sure right so so soon. Danny Ramos on the time but I want to find out you want to find out more about your company or organization is our website. Regular PWA Canada.ca got to be clear that what you want to get a little more in depth because all the old twitter and YouTube feet of you.

We Canada. Well, it's pretty amazing and again I am more than grateful to have had the opportunity to tutu across Canada and see that many parts of of of the wonderful country that I've never experienced it before, and in so lots of lots of great memories there.

And before we go. We only had a couple minutes left here and in you have to have you back on the show and I know you'd shared with me recently so I want to set it up like like this kiss and people you have to tune in for part two.

To get more of your story but you had a life changing your data life changing decision. Just not long ago when we need surrendered your life to Christ right yeah I most definitely did that was that was earlier this year. That was a major change not speak for yourself I met you when you probably didn't think you'd ever take it. So it was definitely definitely a new world opened up to me, that was becoming more clear before I even realized that and one that I glad would take the step to be a part of and and look forward to experiencing it more moving forward.

What was the master. This is take 30 seconds. What was the major catalyst that brought you to that point a decision to surrender your life to Christ over all the success you've had in life if I'm being completely honest, it really boils down to my wife, something she was very adamant about very curious about something she felt that was lacking from her life and her family unit.

So I kind of almost begrudgingly, took some steps in that direction to try to appease her, but once I opened that door, I realized this was definitely a direction for me and offered a lot of clarity and insight to some answers. I did look at myself as well. Well, God bless her once it was surnamed her name is Chelsea Chelsea Chelsea God bless you, young lady. Way to go get good job and I know one of these days it's gonna work out working to get you back to the US and it we we've got it. We got a scholarship waiting for you for man camp is one of the things we want to do it. One of things we do. A man can't. Danny is is especially for someone like yourself is very new in the face is to be able to through teaching and training equip you, empower you and deploy you back home to that family to be to be a godly man a godly husband and a godly father. One of these days we can get you back to down to the great state of Georgia yet believes that was something that I would really let it take part in early Canada.

Second, Batman. The order to get back out of United States without any trouble. I will either. Well, we want to bless you with that and I appreciate Danny Warren, the Canadian elite wrestling organization up there and agreed to have you on the show today and hope all of our listeners enjoyed your interview.
