So we we long, long time friends okay Jeff is II debuted June 1984 right and so yeah so we would've we would've we would've met at that time and it is so 1980 was your debut in professional wrestling. Yes sir. You know what was amazing and Nick is the end there was no wrestling schools. The old-timers didn't really want you in pro wrestling because they looked at it is your you know, taking the job and will course, no cell phones, no Internet in an air occasionally in a wrestling magazine in the back would be an address where you could write or call a promotion and a member call Georgia chapter ship wrestling in the first pro wrestler I ever spoke to was bus all your and mad dog. Honestly, I turned the television on Monday and I saw while McDaniels and Paul Jones wrestling the Anderson brothers own a special TV show and sit down and I got hooked and just fell in love with these big big ugly progress person I knew then that that if there was anyway that that will what I want to do in core started going to the old Park Center in Charlotte that you 20 could go in and walk right up to the pro wrestlers and they use a member. Paul Jones used two have me go get him a coffee and I would come back and he would be down and and he did that many times, and so years later when I got to know him.

I said also been bothering me all these years you know as a kid you you would send me to get coffee and I come back and your big almond. He said that's because you're driving me nuts with all those questions will tell you how to get so.media coffee and just held the you fell for every I kept falling for a buddy. You are asking so many questions you drove us crazy and then carried her bags sounds so crazy now, but I would lead them in the parking lot and just I would love to care. Her bags in a course years ago Wally Dusek built the rings and set them up and then I knew that they always need help. So, hard work, even then, was never a bother to me because what got me in.

This got me in pro wrestling and the door. It sure did it sure did so was able to start helping set up Jim Crockett ratings in an oldies ring and Alanna just just to be around it and and get to know some of the guys and so amazing that's actually how I got in it. What they didn't care for sold just here grab a piece of steel you know and carried it so that that opened the door for me. Help help set up the ring. Yes sir yes sir and that secret so needs to you like this is what I want to do with my so fast forward 1980, you end up debuting us carrying rings and justice are carrying coffee. Yes, Karen called Eddie anything went well, however it whatever you could do it in and so we fast-forward 40+ years it so you had a 40+ year career in professional wrestling. We could probably do six shows just from this glories you had in pro wrestling over 40+ years. Wow so so for the listeners out there. George what what what what what I mean goodness what what would be a couple more similar guys. Well, you say who are you in the ring with you in you been in the ring with probably be easier to say who haven't yet ring with rice you know what was amazing. Nick is I was living in Charlotte and in calling Alanna Georgia chapter ship wrestling which was completely separate and and heard about a guy named Mike Jackson who we both know you Alabama and I had tried every thing in the world.

I thought that it was going to be some tryout that I was going to go there and you want to beat me up but he said just come to Alanna in Austin. It's usually not been trying for so long to just get my foot in the door to get in the ring and Russell and he said yeah he said you come to Alanna and he said, but there is a booking fee jutting care that was just simply whatever I made I had to give him a portion of it yet. I do not mind, there was no other way to get picked for them to let me wrestle so my first trip to Alanna.

I wrestled in Georgia championship wrestling for for almost a year and 1/2 before anybody even knew that I lived in Charlotte okay and so out every Saturday morning I would get up at 5 AM in the morning had to be in Alanna at 9 AM to take their TV shows. This was way before WC W team yesterday. Yes tech will draw Georgia championship yes and I don't want to check with yes and you know what's so amazing. Nick is this past weekend I went to do and Debbie ATV tapings that mean you have done in Alanna Georgia I look up in the building is owned tech would drive so I don't know if that's good or bad Plato circle circle 414. It was my fault. I did tell them that I decided to use the piledriver so little.

You know, late at night in the gym was just me and their son that they'll take off there watching their sports coat it in the ring with us and yeah wow if we could just have a camera and film some of this stuff so but when I'll note.

Even now, when someone comes to my school and they don't really know me in the almost want to resume what I've done and I just tell them that show well and and man that died in a in and of itself is is is is so by the book I'm going want to encourage people to buy a book.

He let me stay with him. I was staying anywhere I could and 86 12 78 yeah yeah I would stay with one friend here I thought it was like honestly the greatest time of my life… Well first beer at 10 years old I thought my brothers all set me down on the end of the bed and said what are you doing son take you look at what we've done wrong and I would say y'all got called. I'm not going to get called in. I had stable brother Bill for a week very disrespectful to him and his wife and and she had had enough and she basically said getting out of here. Remember brother Bill waking me up and he said pack whatever close that you've got and am in the scope. He said I gotta get you out here okay talk to a few clothes in a bag and I got the front seat of brother Bill's car in and as we were going coming out of the mountains and the Carolinas like 2 AM in the morning. This is when the radio still had knobs and that the window still had it all handles and and so I was just just being a brat. I was hit in the – and just turn the radio and in brother Bill for the first time in my life. He began to tell me that somebody love me.

I had never heard those words in my whole life and I didn't hear then so I Hit the dashing holy I was 13 working checking yours.

Okay. And so I do want to hear.
