Maisie raised radio personality.

We go back quite a few years back to Nashville Tennessee when I met you and your your beautiful family or tells about your beautiful family to be very tough for me. Yelling in Houston, Texas, home, school, family, and a lot of time with each other. I work from home and is great that's pretty cool. So you get to work from home. She broadcast from home which is really really cool and you get the benefit in the blessing of being around all the all of your children. Dad is right there present an account and accounted for. Right yeah you think it crazy. I know work from home most of my career and in the last five years I saw the way from the home and so my first two kids grew up with me around the little. My six-year-old note that the radio station by my newest material had gone around my Wikipedia that academically sounded different in my relationship with the kid, you have me around when their little one.

Did not have me around little. I think I could tell the subtle differences of my that is interesting and speaks volumes.

Christian side and I and I minister to a lot of men, Chris and me. I do want to want to conference call man up conference. Lex and I is you know you I know you're familiar with the total package. Lex Luther yeah I yell. He and I co-facilitated it. I co-facilitate a Call man camp. God gave us that vision back in 2015, five day callus.

We bring many in our goal.

Our hope for all the ladies listening out there hope is to send men home better equipped to be godly men, godly husbands and godly fathers and so it's interesting that you can see the subtle differences.

The subtle nuances of when you were home and work home and in that six-year-old and and and emphasizing the Hortense of dad in the home right yeah it's crazy I haven't I include society and culture. The effect of not having a dad or father home from you and I will you and Lex are doing is just phenomenal and I pray for you guys and I really hope that anyone listening right now will not underestimate the power you don't tell God family and God expected to be and so I hope that we can find a solution to that problem of not having a father and hopefully you Lex or make election are making an impact in and in doing our part lease helping helping men be those servant leaders that that you're referencing okay. Real quick before we get your questions. You who does more the home schooling you or your bride. Oh, I'm so I love that my wife total teacher. However, we do have helped so out of Mexico, Bellevue classes this my kids and my mom will do flashcards as well and so we had help from family that is really cool. Hey, I think you just gave maybe some of the listeners out there.

Another idea on if they're not implementing that into their own home schooling that they they can now consider doing something like that so okay well let's transition here and you know you got a couple three questions for me. I have no clue what, you can add so but will headed and fire away. Chris will put you treated like something I write on Twitter. I would searching around on Twitter show prep for my radio show. I find it in the cuticle was trending on my twitter what what what are people talking about you: for I clicked on the story and I don't know if you knew but a lot of people were talking about a story… My recently of you and the nature boy you bricklayer and story circulating about how you had left wrestling when your wife had cancer correctly. If I'm on here correct, and the story that I read that Rick where was trying to get you to come back to me actually offered to drop the title to you to come back and that you story it is truth and you sit here in the radio station of Truth Network so I have to tell the truth, you know, but it is 100% true and but not not only wants, but twice Chris so I'm probably one of the few I may be others out there. I don't know but but there's too many guys who who who, in fact, I heard the words out of their own mouth unity with the baby. Just give me a belt. Give me a title like you're in the business of the reason, but what that said I'm probably one of the few that were offered the prestigious and W a world heavyweight title and turned it down. Not once but twice while yeah yeah you ever you ever know. No, not really. Honestly, not, not to me. I had every other title basically that the NWA more you more or less all in all the major titles that they offered and fans will say all you should want additional put on youth. American basher at that, you know, at*cater you know, and in looking back.

Honestly Chris one I would've been ready for in it at the Great American Bash or*cater to you are really what know because I was only 13 months and maybe 26 months into my career so I was still learning, but even later on. You know the looking back because what people don't understand is back in those days that well to have that title a lot of pressure came with that. Believe it or not, because it wasn't like you know how they do it modern-day how they flip a belt in the matter of three hours. I mean, you know, Bruno Sammartino held the world heavyweight title for the WW for the WW WF like seven or eight years before uncle. I would dethrone him right in Madison Square Garden almost created a riot like legit riot when when when the Russian bear be Bruno Sammartino, the legendary Bruno it so there was a lot of pressure that came with that and some may or may not understand or or no to you to put up a $25,000 bond.

If you were going to carry that title around because I want to make sure you didn't run off with it is so you had to be willing to come back and drop it to somebody else and so all that to say I didn't feel I needed that. In terms of, you know, establish my career because it was already established and and so zero does come a long answer due to do I regret not having it, but I really don't like at this point is that one of the few guys who was offered to and and turn it down right so now you talk about how title change is happening in the wrestling will be can cause riot and get up in arms. I've heard stories that one time you were hated wrestling your character with your direction right now.

They loved to hate me just so I could be it. If you wrestled in places like Ricoh Princeton, it can actually get dangerous for the wrestlers, why did you ever wrestling Puerto Rico into everything. Yes and yes I give you little back story for those who are listening who maybe don't know. I love Puerto Rico now. I wasn't a fan of it, then. However, for the record, because yeah that I vividly remember. So here's the deal. Like I'm ever going there taken us into the stadium and outdoor stadium and we were in a van, but was like I mean, it was like I think you will glass was on the windshield of the mean and they had AK-47 guards escorting this trite trying to get the crowd back enough to get the van through the crowd to get us to to the to the stadium to get us into the locker room. The dressing room and and then and then you know they were cage matches right in wrestling cage match as well. They had a cage all the way from like the dugout all the way down the entire aisle and all the way around the cage, not to keep the wrestlers in the ring to keep the fans out of the ring. Okay.

And so that's one memory another member in an indoor arena. I walk into the ring and there very few fans at ringside. Very few.

They typically have them up in a balcony or away from us and and also not like how you known him like I got hit on the back of my arm. I looked down and it's a spark plug so we thrown a spark plug at me and it gapped open my arm was when I grab my arm had blood on my my hand from being hit with the spark plug in itself. Those are two of the above several stories I could tell you about Puerto Rico. It was a rough place for the bad guy.

It didn't help that I was wrestling Hercules Ayala the Puerto Rican heavyweight champion. By the way, that didn't help.

Allow yes there you go. I remember I remember when little now that you have. I think if I remember correctly you were in your getting a ATV you need champion PPD title shot against calling Tony Blanchard type on that I was and always loved holy line that spotlighted wrestling about how to utilize again. W you work in their future from the Russian nightmare in your future.

Neither AEW back and maybe a coach or action happening. Interesting question Chris. Well let me just first say problems listening out that he had listened to my interview with Kelly Blanchard go back to the archives and pull up the two-part interview I had so many wonderful comments. In fact, I told Kelly that I got have got again the people asking for you to come back because we told some stories that he told some stories, I think, never both. Never before told stories on the interviewers or stories in reference to a long, long, long time and so so be sure to go back and in reference to go back and listen to the those interviews then not but I also have to say to that. Yeah him and staying in Arnie understanding you know some of the most professional, you know, Sting and icon in wrestling some thrilled about how AEW is is using those I agree with you.

I'm thrilled how they are using utilizing those guys all that to say I'm either certainly makes sense right there would be a natural angle.

What we would call an angle in professional wrestling, or he might even say us natural storyline.

Obviously, Sting and I were on the opposite ends of the you know of the chain in a chain match at times you that we were part of. I was a part of Sting squadron for the wargame so there's some obvious history there totally not for the world actually defeated totally for the world TV title belt and a course on and I had matches against each other for that belt on. Also wore the world TV title belt and so there is history there right all that to say I have been the if you want to say, coaching, mentoring, tutoring, AA, team, a team called coal off dynasty, Neil and Alexander coal off my adopted nephews and I say adopted nephews because were telling this story slightly different from when uncle Bud brought enough you not to talk right from Russia right for those who don't know the story go by the book coal off.net go by the book.

Nikita, a tale of the ring redemption. You'll get the whole story but were not trying to tell that story exactly the same way you like dirt there right off the border Russia like I was. These are two professionals who'd already had a story career professional wrestling, you know, 10, 15 year career who approached me and said we'd love to carry on the coal off name.

We love to carry it on and am very familiar with these guys in. And of course they perfected their craft and so we did a whole our own little video story vignettes of telling the story how they really proved themselves to to be christened with the coal off name and so Chris you may or may not realize our listeners made me not realize, but the coal off name actually was back to the 1930s Dan coal law from Bulgaria who had a storied professional wrestling career in movie career like the real like back in the 1930s long, yeah, yeah. Along comes Iva coal off in the 1960s Nikita coal off in the 1980s and now Neil and Alexander have been christened the coal off dynasty attack team for this for this era. For this decade, so all that to say whether or not WW E AEW impact wrestling or another organization might actually give them a shot at some belts or or even a match will will wait to see and you never know what can happen wrestling so I'll just kinda leave it leave it like a good saga leave it hanging right there. I love it so hard. I know in the 8088: KKK right correct when you went to rest on or the store or anything you had to be a public you have to keep it fun did you have to order your drink at the Russian nightmare. Could you communicate so so use the key to your question is did I have to stay in character.

Today that that's the key word in, and that whole question.

The short answer would be no out it wasn't. It was not really required of me to stay in character. However, kinda like you Chris and I know from your back story or an all in kinda guy right at me. If you're going to be serving Jesus you are all in right and add and that's my persona is well. I'm going back to the day age 12 in weightlifting and bodybuilding.

I'm all in. You know if it's football a mauling of his professional wrestling mauling of his servant Jesus, I'm all. And there's there's just no other way to it and so I made the decision on my own. Jim Crockett, Junior, the promoter did not ask me and or have this conversation with me. I made the decision to legally change my name. I made the decision learn how to sign my name in Russian. I made the decision to learn a few words.

No, I do not speak fluent Russian, so don't even attempted but I made that decision and I made the decision to stay in character 24 seven. Anyone with any where public and sometimes even in private like dressing rooms and everything else. And lastly, for three years post career when I chose under my own terms to walk away. Chris I still maintain that Prasanna anywhere in public, or even in my gym for eight or 10 or 12 hours a day with that accent. Okay so when you play will be in you might 1980 you're in your car you go to Donald life through and I'm about to take your order I'm talking to McDonald.

What can I get you today you say make people pay for this crystal because it's you give me a call to be like a large fry big beside the big size like how you call you call us soup soup supersized golf French fry superstar and and and and I take off.

Oh, but the big Mac. I don't want a little mark along with the big big Mark give me a big Mac… I will make it in a hurry hungry so do you make it foster thought you make it foster here.you like pronto pronto you make pronto, come, come, come. Chris is been awesome. That's it. I think that's a great way to get the Acuity would call off today. That's a that's a great and I can't thank you enough for sets of time siding income and to love your family love your hard you doing amazing things in Christian music keep it off and now look forward to hopefully are our paths across and we can break some bread together down the road here.

Boy I love him, guiding you. Thanks, Chris will God bless you my friend will talk again sooner than later. Okay all right dial it again for another episode of Q what I would coal law.
