Making Big Requests - Part 2

Here's today's podcast as we begin studying John chapter 14, it is very interesting to me and extremely crucial that you not understand the link between these two things, the mighty works that gobble to perform and the means by which they are to be performed, which is prayer. He said it. He couldn't have said and the clearer the works that I do shall you do and greater works than these shall you do what honest God is probably about the look in the word of God and say that's what Jesus said.

There is none other name given among men under heaven, whereby any man must be saved, if ye shall ask anything in my name that is coming by the authority of the person of Christ, we come to God the father in the name of Jesus Christ, that is, as a result of what he did at Calvary and applied to my heart and made me clean and pure in his sight, and the fact that he sits at the right hand of the father making intercession bras, etc. access to him. See if God is who he says he is and he makes a promise we have the word of the living God, and he says if you shall ask anything in my name count is done.

Think about this. It's out of God's character, not to keep his promise to what he can't failure because this is the very nature of God. The very essence of God's truthfulness. He has to keep his word to who can make it. No one has to make it. That's his nature. That's his nature. Keep promises he's taken hello.

Do you mean that the Bible is not true. Do you mean you can count on me what you mean we don't say that because that's the way we live. This great challenge you're facing, then go to your knees requirement number four to ask in the will of God. That's what asking in Jesus name is all about this and what he says.

He says if he shall ask anything in my name on coming to him on his merits on his mediation with a clean heart, trusting him that from coming in expecting and what do I have the right to ask you think about this. You and I have the right to ask anything we choose to ask that is in keeping with God's purpose and plan for our life. You see the simplicity of it overwhelms us somehow. If I could just work and and and a pocket just taken what credit we can't take any credit is the loving grace of God is the generosity and the kindness of God that I do not understand, except to experience.

He's as if you ask anything in my name I will do it is Harry says he says in first John chapter 5 this is the confidence that I have in him that if I ask anything according to his will, he hears if the nobody hears me. I know that I have the petition which he desired that promise is that every single believer. The only thing I have to do is to be sure that what I'm asking is in keeping with his will is able to set me that you should never ask anything of yourself know doesn't mean that but it means that I have to see if what I'm asking for through the will of God, Lord, is this of you and he will show you in one of several ways for that is not. Sometimes he just takes the desire of our life. It is not his will.

It is his will, he increases the intensity of our desire or he may shows in his word that is not his will, he may shows that that looks good but there's a better way and this is his will, but he will reveal his will to us he said would succumb to him asking, trusting in his will look in James chapter 4 from James chapter 4 verse three he says you ask and do not receive because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. That is if I asked God, Lord, get me out of that want to get out of debt. God what I want to go that so I have more money to spend on smaller things on pieces, then forget them. Not gonna.

He's is my motive must be right and we have the right to ask big things of God. As long as we know that there the will of the father.

You see, God has so much he's willing to give you and to do in your life if you let him do it. Don't give up when God does not answer, ask yourself the question more. Why did you answer that prayer.

And there's always a reason Summers asked in his will. The last thing the simplest thing of all. And the most difficult of all the for the responsibility have if I'm the last big things of God is simply this, to pray without ceasing all put another way persistence in our prayer that is to be steadfast. The whole loan not to give up. Don't quit just because God has an answer doesn't mean he's not going to and I believe this is the area in which most people probably falter and really receiving the big things of God. What that does. We send a message to God. This is how much it weighs that this is how much value I put on it got. I'm not given up. It's so valuable got I'm not giving up. This is how much I think it weighs God not giving up. No matter what I see you what I hear you think God is an honor that. But if I come up and say Lord Marquis Pinole keeping on keeping on keeping on, sends a message to God. This is valuable. This is crucial. This is critical. Never give up.

That's what Luke 18 is all about the story, the woman who pleaded with the judge and he said to us, pray, and don't faint is what you think about every single person who's listening. We all have a mind and we all have this awesome power to make a choice I choice to either believe what he says or not believe it. And if you willing to believe what he says you will find out what God can and will do in your life but if you don't, you never will and you live your life wondering what would he have done if I just trust. I just believe them if I just taken him at his word and said God what you will do with my life. But here I am in one of you say and going to believe it. Believing and expecting and anticipating that the right to make big request. When we come by his mediation, his merits alone with a clean heart, trusting him asking in his will, and never giving up until God has answered their prayer for the wonderful potential.
