Jay Campbell is a client of Rosewood Wealth Management who--back in 2003--argued a case before the Supreme Court, representing a group of West Virginia coal miners in the case Doe v. Chao. At a time when the Supreme Court is getting lots of attention from lots of folks, Jay shares his behind-the-scenes story of how the Court really works.

Neil on the season of Mr. Stillman's opus. I'm spending some time interviewing my clients here at Rosewood wealth management over the years I've had the chance to work with a lot of different people and a lot of them have really interesting stories to tell. Maybe they have a really neat job you have accomplished something very impressive work. Maybe I just had things happen to them in life, good or bad that make for interesting stories today. I'm talking with Jake Campbell. Jay is currently the Executive Director of the North Carolina Board of pharmacy, but a couple decades ago. He was an attorney working in Washington DC, so if you're keeping score at home. Yes, that means Jay went to pharmacy school and to law school.

Pretty smart dude. In any event back in 2003. He had the opportunity to argue a case before
