One day, Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer at three in the off afternoon. They recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what it happened to him while the beggar held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon's colonnade when Peter saw this, he said to them, men of Israel, why does this surprise you.

Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus, you handed him over to be killed and viewed this theme before Pilate even though he had decided to let him go. You disowned the holy and righteous one and lost that a merger be released to you. You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the date we are witnesses of this by faith in the name of Jesus. This man whom you see and note was made strong. It is in Jesus name and the faith comes through him that is given this complete healing to him. As you can all see now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance as did your leaders.

This is our God fulfilled what he had foretold saying that his Christ would suffer pain came and turned to God so that your sins may be wiped out, and I'm going to close with the state that the times of refreshing may come from the Lord will by the Lord right he's wound up on our hearts to speak this morning for just a moment. A word of appreciation to all the moms sitting worshiping the Lord Jesus today – given so much of the time to parents who have spent literally hours upon hours, loving their sons and daughters and trying to teach them and to rear them in a proper way in a way that would be well pleasing, but I want you to listen folks, it is possible to become weary in well doing, I will guarantee you there are at least a number of parents you worshiping today whose hearts are breaking with their sons and daughters in you becoming weary in well doing your very eyes being there for them you will always love is never been any limits that you put on the and yet today growing weary and will really I want to Sunday school teacher today that for years you've been faithful that you post your latest prepaid, to the one who brings the doughnuts and coffee and it seems like every Sunday you gave your faith it is possible to grow weary in well doing it is possible to run out of gas. You know I want to speak to you about what to do when you run out of gas. I believe that God has a special word for us and I also believe God's got a sense of humor.

Did you know that I want you to listen God has given to us. Everything in the word of God for a reason.

There's a purpose for everything in God's will and I made a venture to suggest to you that there are many purposes for which this wonderful true story about a man lame from his mother's womb was put into Scripture for you and me to read but I do believe that some way deep down in the heart of Almighty God. He was looking at the church at the body of Christ, and he knew and understood that the to discipleship and Christian service is to wariness and I think that God knows and understands that you and I can go very weary in well doing, and God knows that we can run out of gas.

Let me give you six principles taken from this passage that will encourage your heart today. Principle number one you want to gas tank refill number one. Open your eyes open your eyes. This Bible tells us that there was a man in crippled life. I cannot even begin to imagine the number of people who just had frosting by Kenya Bible says he was lame from his mother's womb.

Later on in the Scripture, the Bible is going to tell us exactly how old he is in chapter and verse 22. The Bible is going to tell us this man was 50 years of age. You know that this man sat at that date, the years before someone came by open their eyes and in the predicament that this man found himself in. Sometimes my dear friends this morning. The greatly growing weary in well doing that we begin as it is within our hearts and souls. We begin to withdrawal somewhat. We begin to close our eyes and weariness, we begin to shut down. I'll guarantee you there are some moms here today he would never admit it publicly obvious reasons, but you weary you weary with looking off to your sons and your betters and your children and getting them off to school and times and clocks and running a taxicab and having to deal with this and that you've grown weary in your heart. I believe what Jesus Christ is wanting us to do here.

He signed listen if your gas tank is low, getting empty, open up your eyes and refresh your spirit by just looking around. I don't mean to be critical by this because I think so highly about teenagers but I would say that one of the concerns that I have is that our teenagers got up to good unite America today.

Folks there's a whole generation of young people who have no idea what it is to suffer or to hurt or to play a real price for what they have friends there are people in every drink of life who are hurting their crippled people laying from the mother's womb, that all men and women and girls, even in this great city of Spartanburg distinctly and definitively and desperately need to know about Jesus Christ and our hearts may we be helping us and we see that lead may we see that the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Open your eyes don't preclude within the context of your own circumstances. Principle number two focus on the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jerry verse six the Bible says predecided silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give to you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, rise up and live principle number two you want to gas tank filled refocus on Jesus Christ. Remember Peter on the sea of Galilee sees Jesus coming he says Lord cannot lift you Jesus says come on, Peter gets out, the boat begins to read. The moment he takes his eyes of Jesus.
